A pleasant enough experience. Stayed here with my wife for two nights. The views over the golf course are stunning. The service overall was good. Staff were very friendly. The room was okay - not the best I've stayed in. It was clean and tidy. There were no usb's and only two power double sockets in the room - none by the bed. The bathroom looked a bit dated but was functional. Dinner was good, as was the service. Breakfast was totally self-service buffet style. All the usual fayre. The quality was okay. The car park is located at the back of the hotel and links to the hotel via a path to the front. This path is an uphill to reach from the hotel and is about a 4/5 minute walk. However, there is a dropoff zone outside the hotel. They also have three peacocks roaming the rear of the hotel in or near the courtyard ! These are really noisy throughout the day and night ! Overall, I think I would return to stay here.

Shrigley Hall Wedding December 2024 Shrigley Hall was the perfect venue for our wedding reception. The wedding team were excellent from start to finish; responsive to all our questions, providing hand holding throughout the preparation, happy to facilitate any visits needed and focused on the detail required to make the day successful. The coordination of the event was seamless, the food lovely and delivered quickly, and all beautifully orchestrated by the charming master of ceremonies. The whole day (and day before) ran smoothly thanks to the Shrigley team and they really made sure the day was personal to us. Last minute changes were accommodated for - a new seating plan was printed on the day and last minute name cards were printed too (without asking)! All the little touches were great, including Prosecco on arrival and fulfilling our visions for the tables and favours. Thank you so much to all the team, you really made our wedding reception amazing and a day to remember. Clare & Joe December 2024

Gorgeous! We went for a romantic getaway and we loved it! The dinner was amazing, and so was breakfast. The pillows weren't very good, but the room was clean (which is the most important thing!). The staff were friendly. I would definitely come back!!!

Great break Went for my wife’s birthday from first contact with staff in booking to staying 1night everyone was so helpful and friendly it made our stay one to remember and look forward to doing again, the room was excellent clean and comfortable with a great view over golf course. Thank you to all the staff we had contact with__

Shrigley Hall Had a lovely relaxing time at Shrigley Hall as a present from our daughter. Location is stunning. Our meal was really good as was breakfast.Couldn’t fault anything really apart from the drinks being on the expensive side…would recommend and definitely go back _
