Needs improvement The hotel was comfortable for the most part, but improvements are needed. When we checked in for three days I received a welcome text, staying that no housekeeping would be provided for three days! So the garbage piled up until we checked out, and the one miniature container of shampoo ran out. There is a tray for cookies in the lobby, but the tray was empty every time I passed it. The tub and sink didn't drain adequately. There is a double door inside the pool area that is severely rusted out on the bottom. We found it odd that members of the hotel staff were often seated in the lounge area in front of the hotel. One would think that this area would be reserved for hotel guests. Next time we will stay somewhere else.

Weekday road trip exploring southwest Wisconsin Clean, comfortable, welcoming, with everything we wanted for a quiet, comfortable night after exploring Prairie du chein. The adjacent restaurant was great! Local folks with proper wisconsin food and drinks, and we didn't have to get back in the car! It's hard to find a place like this in today's climate of cold, impersonal interaction.

Non stop barking dog ruined sleep Room was clean and had a nice view of green open space behind the hotel. Fresh cookies in afternoon at the lobby area hotel is on north side of town, so one must drive back into town for dinner, the restaurant next door was shut down. Non stop barking dog next door to our room starting before 5 am made for a short night. Dog barked for 45” non stop.

Our stay We stayed at the country inn and suites in prairie du chien new yrs eve. The rooms were great. Janelle was wonderful. Food was amazing. We will stay again. Thanks a bunch. Very clean.love the fact that there was a restaurant in the hotel

great pre Wayalusing night Comfortable room with good separation. We booked a one bedroom king suite with a sofa bed, got the king bed but a bunk bed which didn't suit any of us. Apparently we weren't the only people given the same room accomodation. There is a tv in the bunk space but it is impossible to view from the bed. The other couple we met commented that the hotel rooms were DEFINITELY not designed by a woman. The pool and hot tub were nice. The restaurant OK. They forgot to give us our sodas and sent someone up to the wrong room to deliver them. The kid who answered the door took them without a second thought. When we called 30m later, they brought up more drinks. Don't order soda thru the restaurant, you get a 1/2L bottle from the vending machines cheaper. Still, nice overall stay
