Needs a new cleaning crew Check in person was super sweet, all downhill from there. After the strong air freshener smell in the room dissipated it smelled like urine and my dog immediately tried to get under one of the beds. Turned out there was an old box of gas station French fries and a water bottle under the bed. My dog continued to sniff the dark colored dust ruffle on the bed, I’m wondering if a previous customer’s pet had “marked” it. The bathroom floor was sticky and dirty. We definitely will not stay at this location again.

Keep on driving. Don’t Stop. Avoid at all costs. My family and I were traveling back from Myrtle beach and wanted to take a break for the night from driving. If I could give this property less than 1 star I would. To put it mildly, the property is FILTHY, in serious disrepair, and the area is very dicey to say the least. Room smelled like mold and urine. All the lights were rusted. Everything felt damp or wet, including the bedding. Wanted to use the hot tub and pool but the water was literally yellow/brown and the chlorine fumes literally hurt your lungs. Plus there is no lock or key card on the pool door which is against the law for safety reasons. Came down for breakfast at 8 am and they had no food. Everything was empty. Waited 20 mins for plates to even be put out. Pancake machine was empty of batter. Oatmeal pot wasn’t even on or being used. Elevator smelled of urine and had what is to be believed a napkin or toilet paper with feces on it on the floor. We left promptly at 9 am because we felt sooooo dirty. We came out and there was a stray cat sitting on the hood of our car. For nearly $300 a night?! Woah.

Overpriced mold This hotel was immaculate several years ago so but it's suffered what appears to be water damage and forgone repairs. The room had a musty mold odor and appears to only be superficially cleaned. The bed was OK, the pillows good, and linens seemed clean. The carpet had a stain, our socks were dirty within the hour, light had rust forming, the curtains stained, the bathroom suffering from water damage no exhaust fan and only a back-lit mirror light. The front staff were friendly, the breakfast was good. The room itself was not up to Holiday Inn standards or the price they charge. I will not stay here again.

Used to be great hotel...now disgusting and it smells What has happened to this once great place? We've stayed here many times...last time was just a couple months ago...and in that time span this place has gone from great to disgusting. Dirty...elevator...hallways....and worst the room! Broken bathroom....dirty comforter....smell...now i know some people comment like this because they are mad...Im not mad at all...just disappointed as this was one of our go to hotels....and now its disgusting! We could always count on this place...no more...this owner clearly doesn't care and this hotel shouldn't be an HIE. Seriously...dont stay here...

Look elsewhere We have stayed at this hotel for many years while travelling from Fla. Last May the hotel was getting tired. This year its disgusting. It needs refurbishing. Our room was dingy, floor was sticky , carpeted area looked dirty. There is rust around lamps, light around mirror in bathroom did not work. The window blind did not retract. The a/c was very noisy. They sprayed the room with some sort if air freshener that gave me a migraine. The linens appeared clean. Had we not been on the road for 12 hours I would have asked to change rooms.
