El Cid Honeymoon (THANK YOU CALI AND IVAN) The resort was beautiful! My wife and I had a wonderful stay! The staff were very helpful, the pools were great, the drinks plentiful. The restaurants were all pretty good, our favorite was Kobo! We ate like royalty, and felt the part with the atmosphere the resort had! The nightly activities varied day by day. We made it to the Mexican Dance show which was phenomenal. We watched all sorts of dancing by professionals, from traditional dancing to the underground moves. The Magic Show which was really fun. The Michael Jackson show was SPECTACULAR! The MJ impersonator was spot on and the backup dancers were great! Our favorite show was the Disney show, the costumes were out of this world and the song choices were great! My wife and I would especially like to thank CALI and IVAN for making dinner reservations for us and making our honeymoon special! They texted us every morning with a list of the activities for the day. They also included our dinner reservation and time in the text too. They were available via both iMessage and WhatsApp and were quick to respond to all of our questions and requests. Cali and Ivan made it so easy and we were almost too relaxed cause we had nothing to worry about!

Relax and plenty of sun Resort was very clean and well-manicured. Staff was very friendly and helpful. So many staff members to list as they were all accommodating.

Great Resort, Missing Entertainment in the Evening This was a great resort for my family and I. The food (aside from the French restaurant) was delicious and the service overall was amazing. I with there was more entertainment for one to enjoy in the evening.

One rotten apple spoils the bag Arrived yesterday, reception staff friendly and welcoming. Huge resort, great paths to walk and get your steps in. Dinner 1st night buffer, staff super friendly. Need dinner reservations for all restaurants which can only be done via coincierge, goodness, abysmal service, it's like she was doing me a HUGE favor. Her tone and service waters down all the good experiences so far. You can only reserve for 2 evening. God forbid you ask her to repeat your options!! I called out her attitude and tone. Maybe it's time for an "undercover boss" call to their coicierge desk.

Love El Cid Many restaurants to choose from and plentiful good food. With suite you have a butler who is helpful in getting services, like making reservations and rides between pools. Two infinity pools (one on a rooftop) that don’t allow children, so have peace and tranquility. All waitresses and waiters are friendly and efficient.
