Lifestyle Tropical Beach Resort & Spa All Inclusive

Nice place We moved from the Cofresi to the Lifestyle. I didn't book because Cofresi had the entertainment and kids pools, but Lifestyle had live music each night. And kids pool with pool entertainment. Plus ramps/railings if bringing a stroller. Food was good, breakfast buffet had green juice and small smoothie bar. Would not recommend for Ocean lovers, hard to get to beach

The Tropical Resort, Puerto Plata The rooms were outdated and in dire need of renovation. The patio sliding doors were broken and almost falling off the tracks. There's no potable water from the faucets. No hot water anywhere. The toilets can't be flushed with toilet paper in it; clogs up. The rooms were not well cleaned; heavy dust on wall-mounted lamps. Food was great, though.

unacceptable condition My experience at The Resort at Punta Cana Tropical (LHCV) was disappointing. I booked through Westgate Cruise & Travel, and the room they assigned us was in unacceptable condition. It smelled bad, had water leaks, mold, and even cockroaches. It was impossible to get a good night’s sleep, as the hygiene was poor, and they had to clean the room daily just to keep it somewhat livable. I heard a lot of people complaining. However, I must acknowledge that the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the food at the restaurants was excellent. Additionally, I noticed that the rooms assigned to resort members were of much higher quality than ours, making it clear that there is a significant difference in how guests are treated based on their membership status. If you are not a member of this resort, I do not recommend staying here, as the quality of the rooms is terrible. Mi experiencia en The Resort at Punta Cana Tropical (LHCV) fue decepcionante. Hice mi reservación a través de Westgate Cruise & Travel, y la habitación que nos asignaron estaba en condiciones inaceptables. Olía mal, tenía filtraciones de agua, moho y hasta cucarachas. Fue imposible descansar bien, ya que la higiene era deficiente y tenían que limpiar todos los días para mantenerla medianamente habitable. Sin embargo, debo reconocer que el personal fue muy amable y servicial, y la comida en los restaurantes estuvo excelente. Además, pude notar que las habitaciones asignadas a los socios eran de una calidad muy superior a la nuestra, lo que deja claro que hay una gran diferencia en el trato según el tipo de huésped. Si no eres miembro de este resort, no recomiendo hospedarte aquí, ya que la calidad de las habitaciones es pésima.

Hotel Double Booked Our Suites and We’re In Downgraded Rooms Through our Interval timeshare, we booked three of the Royal Suites to share among 13 travelers — multiple of which are couples. Upon arrival we were told that our suites were double booked by the hotel and we were going to be moved to only two downgraded rooms that each had one open room with double queens in each, to be shared among all of us. We spent two and a half hours in guest services showing receipts and screenshots of our original booking, trying to explain that this was the resort’s mistake and we wanted our original rooms or that are accommodations equivalent/higher quality. We asked for additional benefits (like upgraded wristbands) and were told they couldn’t do anything for us besides a single additional dinner reservation. After two and a half hours yesterday, we were given 5 individual hotel rooms to share amongst us of lower value than our original timeshares, and we are still working with guest services and the timeshare company to receive our original timeshare rooms. It is day 2 of 7 on our trip and we’ve spent most of it trying to determine what went wrong with our bookings.

Friends Vacay The pools were nice they were never too crowded. We stayed in the presidential suites the rooms were spacious and loved our balcony. The food was not the best in my opinion. The buffets had “theme” nights but only like 2-4 different items. I also got sick after the asian night. They were not too pushy with becoming members because we told them we were in school and used our parents account. “Mostly true.” The entertainment was not what I expected but I only went to one show. The massage from the spa was nice but I wouldn’t book it again. They were disorganized and I’m pretty sure my lady had her phone on my bed because I kept feeling it vibrate.
