Cofresi Palm Beach & Spa Resort

Some good and some not so good, has always... Very good food, the room was not up to standard i can assure you it did not look like the pictures. Friendly personnel. Room was not clean to standard, we asked for our bed sheets to be replaced on the third day, not done, asked again on the fourth day, not done, 7 days with the same sheets. Floor not even swept. Supposed to be 3 water bottles, 2 soda bottles and 2 beer bottles, well we got 2 water bottle every day and that was it. Did go to guest services and mentioned it to the sunwing rep but no beer... there also that lovely poop smell lingering around. Couldn't even sit on our deck because of the smell, not sure if it's all over the site but sure was around our neighbourhood . We liked the idea of going to the other hotels and eat and have a drink, that's nice. Did not get fooled by the time share sales people and let me tell you they try very hard to get you to go for a "free tour" of the place. I eventually got "ignorant", rude, with them. That's how bad it gets... they look at your bracelet colour and for some reason we had the "winning" colour. Will not go back, reminded me too much of Cuba, don't get me wrong, I love Cuba but for the same standard, it's a lot cheaper.

Would not return Came home with Bed Bugs!! That's all you need to know. Resort is just run down, dirty, and understaffed. I'm not a fussy person, but DAILY my husband would clean up cups and shot glasses from the pool - we never saw staff doing that. No pool entertainment. Very old, not maintained rooms. LOTS of steps! We travelled with kids and a stroller and would not recommend. Food was good, very homemade/authentic tasting.
