Very friendly staff We chose to stay at the Westin in Puerto Vallarta for our 1 year wedding anniversary. We had seen pictures online of their restaurants and amenities but due to COVID, they had a shortage of staff. Some restaurants and bars were not open at all and the food was not at the highest standard, so we had to look for restaurants outside of the resort to dine. Our room was nice but the price was overrated for the quality of the room. Our room was adjacent to a couple with a little baby (bad move from the hotel to make this type of room assignment - we were there to relax and enjoy a good time and the crying baby made it harder. We had been staying at the hotel for a week and a half when the other family arrived). Not blaming the couple next to us because that is just a small baby but the hotel should have made a better room assignment. What we will never forget is the accommodation of the pool manager Jesus (thank you for making us feel safe in a crowded space during this difficult time) and of Manuel (the activity/sports guy). Manuel was an amazing person and very welcoming. It was great to see such a friendly face every day by the pool!! A special thank you to Yesenia and Carlos (pool servers) for taking such great care of us and our little puppy. Overall it was an enjoyable experience. A little disappointed due to the mishap with the room and the baby and the lack of restaurants and food, but it was compensated by the friendly staff.

Loyal Marriott members are welcomed here unlike the la concha (Puerto Rico) Unlike the la concha (puerto Rico), this hotel welcomes loyal Marriott members. There were so many great staff members including Lillian, Manuel, Yessina, just to name a few, who made us feel welcome at this beautiful property. While we had some issues with water leaks, which were also present unfortunately at one of their great restaurants, the hotel took great steps to help us. The food was also perfect. The ceviche was perfect. We will be back.

Good Stay The stay was good, we had an issue with house cleaning but it was cleared up by Mr. Jesus quickly because of COVID you have to inform them at check in that you want room cleaned every day. The ocean view was nice. The beds were very comfortable. The restaurant food and service were awesome. Everyone was kind and helpful. The man directing the pool activities was friendly and enthusiastic. The COVID-19 testing onsite was quick, easy and efficient Overall, a pleasant stay in a good hotel with great friendly service and fantastic food.

Very enjoyable experience We stayed at the Westin for 6 nights. We really enjoyed the hotel, room, great service, and wonderful food. I will definitely come again. The pool is warmer than expected but not a deal breaker. The location is great to Uber anywhere in PV. And easy to take walks to the Marina. Really enjoyed our stay!

AMAZING STAFF AND SERVICE AWESOME STAFF and AMAZING SERVICE. From the time we booked to the day we depart the service was spot on. There was never a moment where the service was missed. It was so nice to see people back at work and people traveling again. I know too well how the pandemic negatively affected everyone but seeing the reopening of services back at this hotel made me smile. Breakfast was amazing, the beach was awesome and the staff made the difference. A special thanks to Fernanda, Lia, Pedro ( who we love and appreciate always) and Josefina. Another special mention is to Daniela (omelette queen), Simon, Juan-Carlos; they made the restaurant experience fabulous. Thanks to the entire Management team for making your team feel special and cared for; they made us feel the same way. THANKS.
