Nice hotel next to WSU. I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights to help my daughter move back to WSU for her last semester. It's got a great location next to WSU. the room was comfortable and quiet, the pool and hot tub were both indoors. My only complaint (minor) was the breakfast. There were no omelets or eggs. There were breakfast sandwiches, waffles, and plenty of coffee. There was also a coin operated laundry facility. I would stay there again.

Fantastic Customer Service The staff at this hotel went over-the-top with their customer service. From the moment we booked to check-out. They accomodated us with shuttle service, choosing good restaurants in town, and any small details at the hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable. We loved the option of purchasing wine and spirits at the front desk as well as a small meals (like a nice Ramen Bowl) and snacks to take back to the room. The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast but it was nice to see the fresh fruit and really good coffee. The front desk staff were great but even the General Manager went out of his way to make our stay wonderful. I will defintiely stay here again.

Served it’s purpose. Quick stay. Room was comfortable and clean. Shower was very slow. Breakfast minimal. No daily housekeeping but refreshed towels if requested. Location was best draw for us. Parking was good. Staff friendly.

WONDERFUL STAY The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you! The rooms were nicely decorated, and the beds wonderfully comfortable. Lighting was a little dark by the desk, and overly bright by the entry, but the bedside and bathroom lighting was fine. Coffee was delicious and as was the bagels. It would have been nice to have some hot food also, not just frozen microwavable sandwiches. Orange juice and apple juice were not that good tasting. However, overall, a wonderful stay.

A bit tired, but excellent staff and pet-friendly I had my cat at WSU vet hospital for 11 days and stayed at the Hilltop for a few days at drop off and pick up. They have a ground-floor wing dedicated for pets, and while there is a small nightly fee for pets, they waive it for those whose pets are visiting the hospita. I couldn't find another other Pullman hotel that did the same. Also, it's one of the few pet friendly Pullman hotels that allows cats. The staff are absolute gold. AJ in particular is a wonder and went above and beyond to help me. Listening to her break in a trainee was a joy because she is so kind, patient, and encouraging, as well as funny. If they don't give AJ a raise, I will want to know the reason why. Other staff were pleasant and welcoming, and when I was struggling to open my door at one point while carrying stuff, one of the cleaning people rushed across the hall to help me. The sweet new trainee also took time on her way out to go home to help me shift the fridge in my room to a better spot for me. The parking is ample and free, and the location quiet and safe, which is always a boon as a woman travelling alone. If you have a view room, the view across the valley is nice. The hot water is ample and the pressure good. On the down side, the property is tired and in need of some basic maintenance and updating. Room 116, a King with a view, was pleasant and I was surprised to see a dishwasher in the little kitchen area! Not sure it works, but I had no dishes anyway. There was a sink, microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee maker, all clean. There was ample room to put all my cat stuff, including a large travel crate. On the down side, all the towel racks were loose, as were the two extendable wall lamps above the bed. The bathroom door squeaked so loudly, I was glad I was in the room alone. These things would be easy to take care of. Room 117, a wheelchair accessible room facing the parking lot, was definitely a step down from 116. The bed skirt was torn, there was no plug anywhere near the bedside table to plug in a phone charger, the clock radio was on top of the microwave away from the bed, the floor of the roll-in shower was in poor shape, and there was no sink in the kitchen area. I ended up moving the fridge between the bed and kitchen to use as a night table near an outlet.
