Stay Away from this property 1- Check In 4:30pm room wasn’t ready 2- No reservations for restaurants available during whole stay 3- Ran out of towers at the poor 4- No running water at the room when check in 5- Hairs on bed at check in 6- Ran out of beer at pool bar 7- No ketchup at Snack bar for Burgers and Fries 8- Very dirty pool 9- Toilet was damaged and never came to fix it 10- Entertainment is Karaoke every other night at this hotel

Don’t Stay Please don’t stay here. Worse customer service. Took 90mins just to check in at the hotel. We were standing in the long line up in the extreme heat. No AC. No Fan. Front staff is so slow and no one hardly speaks English. They don’t care. Buffet food is terrible. I saw a bird flying in and out and grabbing things to eat. Flies in the fruits and on the dinning table. No taste in the food. I can’t believe they don’t carry any chillies and any kind of hot sauce. Waitress doesn’t speak English and it’s so hard to explain what u need. Washroom is out dated. Water was leaking from the washroom roof. Had to get a plumber to come and fix it and he made a huge mass n left everything for me to clean. Washroom tub was clogged. Water was filling up when taking shower. Very old dated. Workers ares so loud in the morning. Make sure u grab some face towels from home. They don’t even provide a face towels in the room. Have to ask for a pool towel and the guy asked for a tip. Just annoying when people can’t speak English. The Manager should look in to this issues. I’ll never stay here again.

july 22nd through august 2nd 1. was given two double beds instead of 1 queen bed. this was fixed the next day for us. 2. I was told that the mini ref would be restocked every day. it was not. it was only restocked with water and soda and only. i called and even went to the front desk daily to ask for beer to be stocked in the ref but it was only Deliverd 1 out of the 10 days we were there. and then i was told we could not get more than 2 beers every day. this was not explained in your website or at check in. 3. the ac never got colder than 22, even if we adjusted the thermostat lower. made some nights uncomfortable for us. 4. we had room 4201. the balcony door was very hard to open and close. 5. the cleaning people had their storage room very close to our room and they were very loud every morning as they started to work. they were always yelling to each other. i understand they need to start working but at 6 or 7am i think they could be a lot quieter 6. we really wanted to do the rock-climbing wall and the trapeze but could never find anyone out there. when i asked about it i was told they were out there from 10 to 2 but never saw anybody out there and when i tried to ask anyone no one knew anything about it. 7. the buffet food was pretty bad. we mostly ate from the cooks that were making eggs in the morning and pastas for lunch or dinners. it was very hard to find a table and when we did the service was bad. had to wait to get drinks or find anyone to ask about getting drinks. 8. we had dinners in the different restaurants they were pretty good. we enjoyed them. 9. rooms were very old and needed to be updated. tv was small, remote control said we could use Netflix but tv wasn't updated for that feature.

Phenominal time and gorgeous resort on the magical Caribbean sea!!! My husband and I LOVED Occidental Caribe. The beach is something out of the Corona commercial; absolutely breathtaking. The pool was delightful with all of its fountains and lounges. We had an amazing view from our balcony. We loved all of the food choices and the unlimited drinks were fabulous. The staff was first notch. I'd like to especially call out Francisco, the bartender at the beach, and Mirabelle, the lady who made the morning eggs. They were both wonderful, friendly people. We loved the nightly entertainment and especially the foam party in the pool. We felt young again!!! We also adored the beautiful, fragrant lillys that graced various areas of the lobby. Everything was wonderful. We can't wait to go back!!!
