Unsatisfactory stay at Hôtel le Concorde We got a room with two queen beds off of Expedia for 200$/night. Originally we wanted the room with one king bed but the pictures looked nicer for the two queen beds. Upon arrival there were things that we didn't appreciate about the room. There is no main light on the ceiling which means the main light source came from a small lamp on the desk. As well, (as seen in the picture attached) there was an even smaller light and a reading light attached to the wall. Unfortunately the reading light didn't work and the smaller light above only worked after having to screw the lightbulb on ourselves. There was also no hygiene products in bottles available, which you can find in pretty much any hotel. Normally this wouldn't have been a problem but we forgot toothpaste and there was none in the room or at the front desk. The door to the bathroom didn't close fully either and we had a hard time locking it. Hygiene wise, the bathroom was gross. There was black mold all the cracks between the tiles and there was something that looked like blood splattered on the wall towards to the ceiling. If this hotel was cheaper I wouldn't have been as upset, but considering it was 200$/night I expected more. If possible I would recommend looking at a different place to stay.

Rude, not accommodating I had stayed there a year prior and it was great. A year later it was completely different. The staff were very rude. The check in process didn’t make sense. We “prechecked in” but it didn’t make the check in process any faster later. We were going to stay a second night that we booked when we arrived. But I noticed the price was $18 cheaper on the Expedia app. The reception refused to honour that price and said to me “we’ll it’s only $18” and it’s easy for me to pay that than for them to drop the price and told me to just cancel the second night then. When I called to cancel it 30 mins later the receptionist told me I would have to pay a fee then she would check with her manager and call me back. She didn’t call me back so I called back 15 mins later. She said she was busy and couldn’t get a manager. I said I would come there in 10 mins and speak to a manager and that’s when she suddenly had an answer. The rooms were dirty. Lots of hair in the sheets. The higher rooms seemed more renovated. As the lower rooms seemed older. They had a pool and hot tub last year but seem to be renovating that area. The location is close to the grand allee which is good for dining options.

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!! The pictures of the hotel are highly misleading. Caution to all reserving in this hotel. Floors are crooked. No air conditioning. When other rooms flush their toilets you get blasted with hot water in the shower. The concierge had a little party in the front steps with his friends. I was charged 184+tax I would not pay 80$ for this room. I booked a two night stay I canceled the second night and went to the port Royale which was beautiful and paid the same rates as this toilet bowl. I called after our weekend was done to see if I can be credited a portion of the rate and was greeted by a highly unprofessional manager named Catherine. A manager for the Concorde hotel. These hotels are affiliated. I was spoken to with complete disrespect. All I can say is STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!! We had a wonderful time in Quebec City special thanks to the Port Royal.

Meh... The hotel is well situated and the rooms are nice. However, nowhere was it written that this was a COVID quarantine hotel and that basically, half of the lobby and half of the elevators were off limits. There were horrible lineups for the elevators, the staff would not bring anything to your room, you had to go get it yourself in the lobby and wait in the elevator lineups AGAIN...not to mention that you couldn’t take the stairs since they were in the off limits area. Not a good stay.

Pleasantly Surprised We had read several negative reviews, but we had a good experience, the bed was good, room was large and clean and we were upgraded for free to a much higher floor. The location is great right on Grand Allee and only a few blocks from the Parliament Building and a few more to Chateau Frontenac.
