One night stay I stayed here when my flight was cancelled. The room was clean, the staff friendly. It met my needs for the night. My room didn’t have a hair dryer but I didn’t call down to say anything. I’m sure they would have resolved the issue. There is no airport shuttle anymore. The hotel is a little run down but they seem to be working on sprucing it up.

Lies! First of all, we couldn’t find the hotel because of the new name. We booked the Holiday Inn La Guardia but it was this address. Then even though the website said that there was a free airport shuttle (the main reason we booked), we were told it “wasn’t running currently” with no apology. The receptionist was extremely inhospitable (even though she works in the HOSPITALITY) industry and did nothing to help us or apologize for the renovations, lack of shuttle, lack of amenities etc. The decor was obviously a conglomeration of stuff from other hotels, and we could hear the person next door coughing/throwing up at 4am through the walls. Never again!

Worst hotel experience ever!!! Booked this hotel after flight was canceled. Had confirmation and upon arrival there was a long line of people at desk. Many were trying to check in while others were complaining about rooms not having been cleaned or that the room they were just given was occupied. Front desk personnel were trying to give out sheets and towels to those whose room had not been cleaned. I watched 5 other guests come back to say room was occupied and 3 of them came back multiple times. I finally got a room and found it occupied as well. Waited another 30 mins only for them to say they had no rooms. This was at almost midnight so we had to find a hotel 45 mins away and pay much more plus an additional Uber ride of $60. Also, there was a”security” person who was completely frustrated by having to help guests with room keys that werent working or occupied rooms. Place was a total nightmare. Do yourself a favor and NEVER STAY HERE!!! A complete sham of a hotel who were trying to work off a sheet of paper to see which rooms were clean or available. Staff was complaining about housekeeping not doing their job. Again, the absolute worst experience at a hotel in my life and I travel all the time for business as well as personal.

Steps to Citi Field and US Open The hotel is undergoing refurbishment in which the rooms are being remodeled as well as the hallways. The upper floors of 7 and 8 have been remodeled but the lower floors have not. The newer rooms have new furniture and a fresh look. The older rooms are clean and the beds are comfy but the rooms are dated and the carpet is old and peeling up in the hallways in certain areas. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable about the area for restaurants and transportation! The hotel has one of the best fitness rooms I’ve seen in most hotels. Plenty of cardio machines with cable machines, a smith machine, and free weights. It also has a very large indoor swimming pool that is staff attended. The hotel has a restaurant on the lobby level. There are some local restaurants within walking distance to include Mexican, Colombian, and Dominican Food options. There is a small grocery store about 10 minutes walk. It’s the closest hotel to the US Open being less than a 10 minute walk. Be sure to book early. The rooms book quickly. Citi Field is also a 10 minute walk as well. So close you can see it from the hotel. A pick up from the airport usually is around a 20 minute wait for the shuttle. The shuttle runs to the airport every half hour to the airport upon return. The ride there is 10 minutes but can be longer during heavy traffic times. If you choose to drive there is a parking lot and $22 a night.
