Bed bugs infested room Horrible experience. We booked two queen bed room over the weekend. My wife was bitten all over by bed bugs. Terrible rashes all over the body. Luckily, my toddler slept on the other bed and escaped being bitten by the bugs. I just hope we didn't bring the bugs home.

Dealing with Choice Hotel, the room issue and room pricing. Dealing with Choice Hotel main line when I booked. What a nasty debacle! They had to compensate for the free night. It was a disaster of a planning. I had to deal with the Manager due to being hung up on by the first agent and then I had to call 2 more times. By the third time, I dealt with a very good Manager named Gustavo. But I should not have had to do this. But I did. My friends and I booked with Choice hotels for our trip to Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada in November. I will definitely write a review for this trip. It's at the Country Inn and Suites. We already had a small hic up with parking. The first person we dealt with said parking was free. Then my friend called back and found out that parking was not free and we had to pay for it. They were able to take off money from the room rate to compensate. Can't anyone get their act together at Choice Hotels call center or calling the hotel directly? It's NOT difficult! -------------------------------------------- Queenbury, NY Country Suites Inn. This is a well-kept hotel. Close to everything. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast every morning was good. It was a good experience until we went into our room. - We like to take our clothes out of our suitcases and put them in the drawers. First we check to see if this is clean. Not even close. It was very dirty in the drawers, the shelving with the drawers which is also the TV stand and the night stand beside our beds. We used the wet wipes and they were black! That's a big turn off. We made the front desk staff aware of the dirt. This is a busy hotel Great! But it needs to be cleaned properly and thoroughly. I've attached 2 pics of the cleaning my wife had to do. She should not have to do this. - Now we understand and it's become the normal with all hotels that every 3 days housekeeping would come to our room. That's great! So we requested then to have housekeeping come on Monday and when we returned to our room, housekeeping did not show up. It was the 3-day wait. By this time it was pointless to have house keeping come on Tuesday as we were leaving on Wednesday. We had to keep the AC running all day until we arrived to our room. If we had turned off the AC by accident and there was a moldy, musty smell. A 2-star hotel with a 3-4 star pricing. We understand it's a tourist area. BTW, I'm not talking about the payment on my last night where the room had to be comped with points. I paid from Friday to Tuesday. ******NO ONE SHOULD BE REPREMANDED FOR THIS****** JUST FIX THE ISSUE PLEASE! This experience was not well received by my wife. I hope this is seen by management of Choice hotels.

New birthday tradition . The staff are friendly. The location is great. They were very accommodating and allowed us to have cake with a few friends and family. This was a surprise for our 7 year old daughter. This made her trip very special . She had wanted to come to the area for her birthday the last couple year . This has become her tradition and we have stayed at this location ever time. The rooms were clean and looked freshly painted. The free breakfast is a plus and the location is close to fun activities., and restaurants.

A very nice and pleasant place to stay with all the conviniences. We went there for R&R knowing the region but never staying there. The registration was a breeze and very pleasant thanks to the efficiant policy of this hotel chain and the helpfulness offerred by Stephanie the person on duty at that time. What a nice and helpfull person ! Our room was spotless .Couldn't find a speck of dirt anywhere. Good beds ,large bathroom will all the conviniences . Nice clean windows and good and efficiant lite blocking drapes. Great TV and all the tv station you desire. Breackfast is what you could expect :Eggs, waffles, toast, english muffans ,coffee and decaf, juices, cererals yogourt etc. Hotel has a very nice and large parking area and also safe. An interior pool and gym .Right beside an amusement parck (Good for families during the season but not for older couples during that period I would say). Near Outlets ,Lake George and also Glens Falls and its loads of restaurants. We had a very nice stay and "All the people working there" where so polite and nice. So we recommend this hotel.
