Kids had a blast, could use some improvement Kids 5 and 6 had a blast in the waterpark. Food in the restaurants was good. Small pasta portion for the price in the one restaurant. The newer restaurant was good, friendly service. I was expecting breakfast to be disappointing from other reviews but I found it good, lots of options- cereal, donuts, breakfast potatoes, eggs, bacon, sausage, turkey sausage, bagels & toast, pancakes. Yogurt with fruit, juices, coffee.. Beds were terrible, one of our mattresses was so sunken in. Parts of the hotel can use updating like the hall carpets. Some of it was torn up. Nothing to do in the morning until the waterpark opens up at 10. That was a bit disappointing since my kids get up way before that. Kids enjoyed the arcade. Waterpark was nice for younger kids. I feel like older kids would get bored easily. They could certainly use more tubes in the lazy river and spruce up the flooring which was really stained. Not all vending machines worked properly.

Horrible I wouldn’t recommend booking a birthday party or a room here if you paid me a million dollars. First, the higher-up staff were some of the rudest people I’ve ever met (though the younger checkout girls were sweet and rooms were okay !). We arrived around 2:10 to check in. I needed to add extra pizza for my party. When I called The party coordinator a week prior I was instructed to order them at check-in and pay then—rather than pre-ordering like the others. Our party was from 2:30 to 3:30, but because of this, I didn’t get the pizzas until 3:00— and we didn’t get into party room til 2:45 bc everything was overcomplicated checking in. We all wanted to sit down, eat and relax from the drive instead we were stuck on a 90-degree balcony and from the moment we arrived, the waitress was rude and rushing us, saying we needed to hurry because the restaurant opened at 5:00 pm. Mind you, we still had 45 minutes left, and the pizza should have been ready when we got there. She told 8+ guests to hurry up, refused to give us to-go boxes (I had to ask the front desk for them), and made everyone feel uncomfortable. She seemed miserable so every time I seen her bring stuff in I would open the door for her. She would open the opposite door, roll her eyes then ignore me… I reported everything to the front desk in real time, and they were nice, but it didn’t change anything. At 3:30, we were still packing up and didn’t even get to sing happy birthday or eat cake. Then, my little sister’s iPhone went missing. 4 people searched the entire balcony, even the trash! The waitress came out and told my sister to hurry up and leave. My sister refused, saying she’s looking for her phone and her boyfriend is contacting security. When I returned from taking the cake upstairs, I saw the waitress walk away from a table. My sister was crying because she couldn’t find her phone. I walked over to the table the waitress had just left—and there it was, sitting in plain sight. The waitress knew we were looking for it and never once said anything. She tried to steal it. I told the front desk everything, and they were sympathetic, but I had to wait until the next day to speak to a manager. She gaslighted me, saying she’d never seen the waitress act that way so it couldn’t be true and refused to check security footage to prove she took the phone or how she treated us!!This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a family-friendly establishment. The employees are thieves, and the 90-degree balcony made my guests miserable—even triggering my nephew’s asthma.… this isn’t even half of what happened but don’t have enough room. DONT WASTE $500 for this!!! I will say the rooms were clean!!. If you decide to do a birthday here, I would get the birthday package for the room itself. Do not book the balcony, but also do this at your own risk because if anything goes wrong, you will be made to feel like a liar.! Management (woman with brownish red hair and glasses) was very patronizing. Acted as if she was concerned, but really didn’t care. I really wish I read the reviews on this place before I booked because I am clearly not the only person who’s had the same experience!!! Yet the management told me that things like this never happened and it’s unheard of. Treating me like a liar and condescendingly smiling in my face!

Family Friendly Excellent staff and very friendly. No cash so bring a card. Waterpark was busy as expected but lines weren't that bad once the day passers were gone giving us over nighters plenty of time to play. Highly recommend for young families. Plan in advance.

Are they going bankrupt? We stayed here five years ago and had such a great time. Sorry to report this time we did not have a good experience. Where to start. The room - we had a king bed with a bunk room for the kids. The beds are so old, and you could feel the spring coming through. The pillows were hard and lumpy. Our blinds had a tear in them, and the curtains had stains in them. The sofas are so dirty looking. There was a big draft coming from under the heating unit making the room very chilly. The upstairs restuarant- we did the breakfast buffet and it was absolutely horrible. The eggs were definitely not real eggs, and they tasted like plastic. They had no non dairy substitute for milk. They ran out of plates, and we had to use spoons. There was a long line to get in. The Starbucks quick food - for two bagels and juices it was $22 and change. The arcade - the kids liked the arcade. Hurricane restaurant - our experience here was amazing. The food was delicious. To bad they don't do breakfast. Their garlic parm fries are AMAZING!!!! The waterpark- my first gripe is they literally had 15 tubes for the whole lazy river, we waited 20 plus minutes and still didn't get one so we gave up and just walked. The lazy river is fun and is a great size. This park is meant for smaller kids. My girls are 7 and 9 and there are really only two rides that you need tubes for along with a family raft ride. The park closes from 1p to 215p for a water safety break. It was so dumb bc we just checked in and noon and went there. The flow rider takes forever to get on bc they give everyone two minutes, which is nice when it's your turn but not nice when you have 15 people in front of you. They have a small area for toddlers and a bigger area with a splash bucket and some body slides. The toliets are absolutely disgusting. There isn't enough seating for everyone to sit and eat. There is an adult only hot tub. They do not take cash anywhere in the hotel but do have cash to card machine so you can load your cash onto a card.

Will not go back unless these things change Let me start with the staff. They were exceptional friendly and helpful. That’s where the good news stops! The rooms, were run down and smelled horrible. The carpet on the floors were coming up and had tears in them. I grew up going here to Story Town before Great Escape bought them. This was a childhood memory that’s just trash. The vending machines were all but empty and sold out. $5.00 for a Coca-Cola. No water, no sprite, no orange, no diet!! What a huge disappointment. Onto the indoors water park. Not enough seating or tables. If you go with a family of 3/4 people get there early and grab a table. The place wasn’t even packed and the loading of tubes took 30-45 minutes for the dual tube ride. It was clean and comfortable in the water park. Not sure if I’ll ever go back again unless these issues are fixed. The price for rooms was reasonable and that’s the best part about it. Cashless!!!! This too was a huge inconvenience and disappointment for me. Accept Cash you’re an American company. This also needs to change
