Very nice hotel This is a very convenient hotel if your visiting Villanova. Besides being convenient, the rooms are very nice and the staff is very hospitable. Parking is available and the internet access was very good. A very good choice.

Beautiful Setting, Pleasant Staff You'll love staying here. The youthful staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the welcome is warm and genuine. We were there in the fall, and the foliage was exquisite. In fact, we sat outside on the balcony (all the rooms have them) just so we could ooh and aahhh at the autumnal splendor -- so be sure to ask for the garden view. The rooms are clean and the beds are so comfy, you won't want to get up in the morning. The hotel is attached to a lovely mansion, and you are free to walk the grounds. The only drawback to the inn is the location: you must have a car or depend on a cab or Uber, since it's in a wooded area off the main road and not walkable to anything. That can be a problem because the hotel doesn't have a restaurant (just a little cafe/bar). We did drive, and the place is close to several Main Line towns with nice eateries. My only complaint is the lack of a hold bar for the bathtub/shower; it could be an issue for older people or those with disabilities.

Nice hotel but noisy I stayed for one night on a recent business trip. I was given the room that is right next to reception and the bar/lounge area. I don’t know who thought to put a room in that location but, not surprisingly, it was very loud. Going to sleep at night all I could hear was people chatting at the bar, waking up the next morning I could hear everybody checking out. The hotel looked pretty big and didn’t seem that busy so I would be surprised if this was the only room left. If it was, it should’ve been offered at a lower rate. For over $200 a night, I would expect to have some peace and quiet. I would recommend talking earplugs to anyone staying here. I have sent this feedback by the feedback link I was sent upon checking out, and haven’t received any acknowledgement of my comments. Otherwise, the hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff were very pleasant.

Beautiful Surroundings But Difficult to Get Around I was here for a conference. This hotel is really perfect as a conference hotel in terms of the meeting space. Rooms were equipped with everything you need and staff was so helpful and friendly. It's so beautiful and serene here. Beds were comfortable, and everyone I talked to raved about the gorgeous views from their rooms. My one disappointment was that I didn't have a car. You really MUST have a car here as it is not safe to walk anywhere (i.e., narrow roads with no shoulders to speak of). I love to explore local coffee shops when I'm out of town and had to Uber ($11 one way) to get coffee :(. The hotel had a small "restaurant" ... food was tasty but menu was really limited. So - yes, stay here IF you have a car to get around in.
