No COVID safety concerns I just came back from a 2 night stay with my elderly parents at the Ritz Rancho Mirage. When I arrived, I was shocked that most of the employees / valet and guests were not wearing masks despite the huge uptick in Covid numbers. This hotels says they take the healthy and safety of their guests with the highest priority, yet it is clear this isn’t true. The CDC recommends ALL individuals despite vaccination status to wear masks indoors for those areas with high or substantial transmission rates, which 90% of the country is at, including Riverside County. At checkin - we had to wait in the lobby for the rooms to be ready, and we’re not given an upgrade that was promised to us by the rate, and also being a Titanium member. Status holds little value here it seems. When I checked into the room, the amenities were spares, and only one bar or soap, for the sink.. none for the showers. Another guest was also smoking on the patio right next door, which also is a problem for my elderly parents. Overall, I just wish the hotel would have taken safety of their guests and staff more seriously, and require masks per the CDC. Also, any acknowledgment of status would be nice as well.

I'd give it 6 stars if I could They do everything right. Amazing service, friendly staff, beautiful rooms, well-maintained, incredible views, safe during covid (been here 3 times in the last 3 months). Thomas and Uri at the front desk are amazing, will make sure your every need is always addressed. The food at The Edge restaurant is amazing (especially the dinner menu - their chef is phenomenal). Good drinks at the bar. Great food at the pool. Amazing views from the restaurant and from the hot tub. Breakfast is solid as well. Lots of outdoor seating options.

Dont even bother This is literally the shadiest hotel I’ve been to in a while, check in is trash, I had to pay an extra 1k just because their system timed out, how is that my problem? I don’t remember the name of the man at the front desk but he kept insisting my payment didn’t go through when we clearly seen “Approved” on the screen. The manager had to come out and let him know that our payment actually went through and timed out on their end because I didn't “provide a signature fast enough” but its also been happening to a lot of other people. Now I have to file disputes with the bank when you guys could have just figured your system out. And on top of that it was my birthday when I was staying! Never going back. It was a huge waste of my time.

Desert Oasis This is my third time staying at the Ritz Rancho Mirage and I really love this place. It was just perfect for the few days away that I needed. First, The staff are so friendly and helpful. They really make the stay pleasant. Second, I love that the location is up the hillside overlooking the valley. It really gives an "away" feeling. Third, the food is delicious. I look forward to returning again in the future.

Hot, but great This was an unexpected stop on our journey as we added a day at the track in Thermal California. While it was scorching hot the experience was great. We spent the afternoons by the pool with great service and shade, making the overall experience on par with other Mexico resort vacations. The room was impeccable and all staff were great!
