Quick get away This is a large resort with a lot of activities to due for singles, couples or families. You can lay by the pool, sit at the bar, sit around a lounge, eat, play games, golf or go out for a bicycle ride. Check in and out was easy with mobile key and resort host were very friendly. They were under going renovations while we were there however we didn’t experience any noise or instructions. We definitely will go there again. And try their nochos, the best I have ever had.

Construction ongoing, renovated rooms still need refreshing Check-in: Receptionist acknowledged my Bonvoy status and provided an upgraded room without issue. Provided vouchers for breakfast and was initially told that they were good for the breakfast buffet they just started back up post-COVID (more on this later...was not the case). No mention of resort fees (oversight on my part I guess for not knowing? no mention on the Marriott website like at other properties) nor any explanation of what was included with said resort fees ($37 a night but you get a $10 food and beverage credit per night; you also get free bicycle rentals, two free drinks per stay, and a free duck pins bowling game along with a few other benefits.) Also, there is a $15/night self-parking fee. Room: Got upgraded to a suite that was recently renovated. Plenty of room, but the room still felt old. Patio/outside seating area was covered in dirt/dust to include the lounge chairs. Pool: Main pool remains under construction as stated on the website. The Las Hades pool is large enough for maybe 20 people before it feels crowded. Pool area could just a quick air blowing before guests show up as there was a lot of plant debris all over the lounge chairs and general pool area. Pool bar attendant (forgot his name), made it all worth it. For the kiddos, they have an inflatable water slide setup (about a 5 minute walk from Las Hades pool) in the great lawn area. Food: Ate at Pinzimini for breakfast and had the buffet (again, which I was told that it was included as a Titanium member, but that was not the case and it is actually another $10 uncharge for the buffet...NOT worth it IMO). For dinner, hit up a local restaurant called the Barrel District which was so good we went there twice during the stay. Would I come here again, maybe after they complete the hotel and main pool renovations and see how those slides come out. Otherwise, I would rather go to the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort and Spa at Indian Wells with the kiddos.

Highly recommend this venue for all your large events We held a large event for 200 people in their Oasis ballroom. They brought in a fabulous vocalist, served a delicious dinner, decorated the room etc. The staff was so accommodating and eager to please. The evening was extremely successful thanks to the Westin for their awesome commitment to pay attention to every detail. We have had and will continue to have all our events there as they are 5 stars plus in every way!!

Beautiful resort, excellent customer service! I have stayed at a lot of Marriott properties but this one is by far the best. The resort is pristine, grounds are always perfectly kept and staff are pleasant and very helpful. Kudos to David at the adult pool, Abdul at Pinzimi and Tracy B at the Fireside Lounge. They really show pride of ownership and Marriott/Westin should be proud to have them representing the brand.
