Just okay Cons: not the level of service or cleanliness you would expect. All the on-site restaurants are closed and no pool side service. Staff seem not so friendly in lobby. We recently stayed at the Westin Villas in Scottsdale and these 2 resorts are not at all on the same level . Needs some cleaning and could be updated. Pool water was cloudy. Pros: water slide is super fun and kids loved it. The slide made the trip for them. And they loved the ducks that live on the property.

Westin Mission Hills Felt Tired This was the fourth time we have stayed at the Westin Mission Hills and it just didn't feel the same. Sheets were old and worn and they did bring us new sheets so we could remake the bed ourselves. Parking has always been tight at the WMH but I didn't realize that part of the reason is there isn't an employee parking area and they park right in front of the villas. All week we were there a Coke can was in a drain spout. I'm sure it's still there. The bathroom was not to same standards as previous stays and the stripping on an interior door was hanging down. Not major things but just a little lack of attention to detail. By far the biggest disappointment is the fact that the neighboring Westin Hotel has blocked the path and you can no longer walk to the other property. My wife and I have enjoyed taking a stroll down the path and visiting the other property and were startled to see an impassable fence blocking the path. I will say the staff was friendly but all in all I definitely felt it no way compared to previous trips.

Great Birthday Trip! I went here on a trip for my birthday with my girlfriend and friends and it was an amazing stay as always! I would like to give a shoutout to a few employees! Mayim checked us in and she was SO nice and professional. She really made me feel welcome and respected and explained everything to me. She is very good at her job and it set a great tone for the trip! Next, I went to the grocery store and decided to text the number they provide to bring a luggage cart to our room so that I could carry all the heavy groceries in one trip because it was boiling hot out. Miguel brought it over to us so quickly and made it so much easier! The pool staff was also extremely helpful and very kind! I wish I had gotten the guys name who helped us with our cabana but he was very kind and helpful! Lastly, we checked out with Leslie at the front desk and she so kindly took our refrigerator items and put them in the front desk fridge for us while we went to brunch. Thank you to everyone for making this trip amazing! The only downside was that all the restaurants and bars were closed, including poolside service and room service.

Enjoyable but Staff needs to pay attention to details Let's start off with the pros: Beautiful grounds, decent size rooms, friendly staff. I arrived at this hotel at 12:30 a.m. and the front desk staff was very accommodating, it took a while for the trolley transportation to arrive but this was sort of expected since most Staff will be off duty at such a time. I stayed in room 1225 a staff mentioned that the room was rennovated I would hope that I/ we misunderstood him. Cons: Carpet is dated and dirty. My feet on the carpet was black. The room was not properly clean. In the bathroom there was residue of dirt and particles on the floor. There is no AC ventilation in the bathroom, so applying makeup in the bathroom was challenging. Beautiful bright mirrors though. The porch for all rooms seemed dirty including the glass sliding doors. The sheets on one of the king size beds had holes and the bed frame had chewing gum. I was informed that the room would be clean on day 4 but that never happened. On day 3 the housekeeper brought towels and I kindly asked her to scrub the tub and toilet. She gladly did it and made a difference and I was hoping the next day they would change the bed sheets and vacuum the carpet. Refrigerator was present in room but it was not plugged in and I had to call the front desk to assist me. Staying at the Mission Hill for seven days was overall enjoyable but Staff needs to pay attention to details. Finally, everything closes at 10 p.m. and for such a big resort there's only 1 restaurant with a very limited menu.

Quality has definitely declined We have been owners for more than 15 years. This trip has so far been the worst ever and we just got here! It started even before our trip. We had purchased an "Encore Package" which was an incentive to come back and attend another presentation/owner update. After paying $895, we were blindsighted by a $20 nightly parking fee. After I contacted Encore Package Reservations about the fee, they told me I had to contact the resort directly to get the fees waived since we were owners at the Westin Mission Hills Villas. I was then provided the email information for the manager, who I emailed right away. The manager called not too long after I had sent my email. Mr. Cassady was very polite and amiable. He understood my disappointment and did what he could to make things right. However, he did not note anything on our account. Upon checking in, I asked the front desk what the fee would be for our vehicle nightly fee because the parking permit was preprinted with the $20 nightly fee rate. I was told that the nightly fee would be $20 each night. I informed the gentleman that I had spoken with Mr. Cassady and was informed that our fee would be reduced to $7 each night, per our discussion. I was asked for email confirmation, as there was nothing noted on our account. He said without written confirmation, we would be charged $20 each night. So, tack on an additional $100 to our bill despite what we were told! Upon getting situated in our room, I find dried urine that does not belong to anybody in my family (as nobody is allowed to touch anything until I've checked the room) on the toilet seat. So, I break out the Clorox wipes and start cleaning. Let's just say I went through half the container of wipes - that were filthy! Apparently, this room has not been cleaned well. Some areas left the wipe saturated with grey/black dirt. I spent over 30 minutes disinfecting and cleaning the room. I'm so upset that I'm typing this review as I sit in this room! Clearly, I am not looking forward to the rest of our stay. Who knows what other surprises this property has in store for me and my family! Needless to say, I am quite upset and am regretting our stay - from the last minute notification about the high parking fee (thinking that was resolved, to find that it actually isn't, and now I have to try to fix the situation when I'm supposed to be on vacation), notification that the Encore presentation will be at another property, and now the lack of cleanliness of our room! It is understandable that things happen - nothing is ever perfect, but this level of service is not what we are accustomed to here. We have been owners for quite some time and we have never had to deal with such issues. If I could, I would sell my ownership. This property does not reflect the high standards that the Westin used to uphold. I certainly won't be recommending this property to anybody in the future.
