Hotel Sol

Perfect small beachfront hotel. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stays at Hotel Sol over the last several years. The staff could not be more pleasant or accommodating. Hector, maintenance and Maribel, housekeeper are exceptional staff who always acknowledge you. Ideally located right on the beach. Rooms are clean and inviting. Nothing fancy but comfortable. Great Stay! We absolutely loved our stay at the Sol. We stayed in the waterfront 218. It has beautiful views and chairs and loungers for the beautiful sunsets. The staff were very friendly and the rooms are clean. The pool is heated and really nice. We will definitely be back.

A nice surprise on the beach. We love this little hotel. Not pretentious but clean and renewed and first floor rooms right on the beach. Redington is a great destination and this hotel has a nice heated pool and pleasant garden area right off your room. This is our fifth visit over the past dozen years, and we look forward to retuning again. Parking is tight, but Sol has a new building across the street and lots of parking there. This is a gem on the beach if you like peace and quiet, and a small (40 room) well renewed mid century inn is attractive to you. You won’t be sorry.

Stellar architectural example of compression expansion There’s a surprise waiting for you, if you are a Frank Lloyd Wright fan. This is an impeccable example of space use in the original structure. You walk through the concourse surrounding a pool, very old Florida, then there is an internal structure, like a grotto with picnic tables, then, wait for it, open vista beautiful view. Perfect example of compression and expansion with a huge reveal. Any one who doesn’t appreciate that view, I can’t imagine. Not only that, but when we checked in we booked last minute so our room wasn’t ready, ok, we sat in the bench in front of the hotel for a while, went back in to reception, still not ready, I said we have no where to go so I guess we will be in the parking lot, then we were offered to wait by the pool. At some point the manager showed up and you could just tell this chick was a hard worker, she cared and was very competent. I felt a sisterhood of woman boss in charge moment. She needs a raise. So the property is made of two structures, we stayed across the beeping walkway street in the tall building. When I say beeping, you push a button and traffic stops. Anyway, Place was huge. Clean. The bed was comfy. The kitchen was stellar! I made spaghetti one night we stayed in.so if you have a family and are looking to save money be eating in, the kitchen is well, well equipped. I begrudgingly write this review because the secret will get out, but heck they deserve it. I will be staying again.

Excellent stay! This was just perfect for us. It’s a small hotel right on the beach. The room was great. The pool was amazing. The beach is spectacular. We did have to park across the street due to very limited parking but there was a crosswalk right there. We will definitely stay again.
