Older remodeled beach hotel We stayed in this hotel for a few days over the winter holidays. It's an older hotel that was nicely remodeled and currently owned by Hilton. The room was very spacious, comfortable and quiet. There was a little bit of musty smell in the room though. Hotel parking was expensive ($24/day or so), but there was free street parking in a few blocks. The breakfast was pretty mediocre (not free). We were looking for a not too expensive, but well maintained beach hotel and this one worked for us. We would stay there again!

NOPE! This "hotel" aint it! This is a $120 a night hotel for $250 a night+ the service was crapola, the front desk attendant couldn't be bothered to even give smile or face contact. We showed up at 3:50 for a 3pm check in to find out our room wasn't ready and that they "changed" check in to 4pm, not what it says on ANY of the information I received from booking agent, waited in lobby until 4:15 when our room was ready. We got our keys and went through the maze to find our room, no direction at all from staff. We open the key card and my key looked like someone sat on it, naked and dirty between the cheeks. GROSSSSS!! Went back to get new key and she tried to put my new keys back in the soiled card holder. This is NOT hard people. EWWW! They charge $3. for bottle water IN THE ROOM lol. the coffee maker was broken, the AC is junk and the "view" of the marina is through the parking lot and the street, we paid more for a view and got a view of people partying in the parking lot. The lobby is under construction and barricaded off, the bar was a sad lonely little excuse, we didn't use it. The bed was comfortable so I guess the second star is for that. It's a loud old building with newish update dish amendments. Just go stay a few blocks off the beach better accommodations and much less $. Never again Hilton. you are lacking.

Comfortable hotel near marina Nice location by marina. Easy walk north to promenade along Hermosa and Manhattan beaches. It is an older hotel that they are fixing up. The beds were good. The doors and fixtures need updating. Great staff. The parking was convenient in the back. No complaints. Enjoyed our visit

Second stay This is our second stay here. Friendly staff particularly behind the bar, serving coffee in the morning. Very comfortable beds ans good shower. Excellent breakfast burrito. Had a lovely walk in the morning too, from the hotel to Hermosa beach pier (30 minutes each way) for sunrise.

Very disappointed! My husband and I booked this hotel for three nights following a return trip from Australia. We checked in and checked out after seeing it and smelling two rooms. They were musty smelling. The first floor felt like I was in a basement. When we first arrived by Uber I thought we were at the wrong hotel. They have old style air conditioners. There is no reference to Hilton on the exterior. It looked like a cheap hotel and in my opinion did not look like the photo pictured online. I first thought there must have been a mistake and checked the address again. This really cheapens the Hilton brand. On a positive note, the woman at the front desk did not give us a hassle when we wanted to cancel. We checked into the Hyatt Long Beach and are very happy.
