Staff are great… As business hotels go, there are worse, but there are also so many that are better It prides itself on having four stars…but that’s because they tagged on a fitness room and spa as well as conference facilities Let’s start with the fitness room My home gym is both better equipped and more spacious The conference facilities….lets stick it on the other side of the car park shall we? What if the weather is bad and we need to carry equipment over in prep for our meetings? Doesn’t matter, we have four stars on our wall The overall decor just looks dated and tired and if it’s been renovated, the stylist needs to take a long hard look at themselves in the mirror Breakfast….if you’re starving, you’ll be fed Maybe it’s just the typical remote German cuisine, but it certainly won’t be lighting up any fires The room itself is cozy, tired (again), sparsely equipped and the lack of temp control means you are at the mercy of the hotel heating It can get warm….so they do provide you with a mini standing fan However, the staff that we’ve encountered have been friendly and helpful and the WiFi works

Simple problem turned into an issue for the receptionist! Well I’m gonna write this review before the morning to see how breakfast is because as of now the overall experience with had with the front desk receptionist wasn’t the most pleasant. Check in went pretty smooth, when I booked it said we would get 2 free drinks due to being a silver member, well she gave us 3 since it was 3 of us, one being a child. We requested 2 key cards for both adults and once we got to the room neither keys worked. We checked the bathroom once we got in the room and only had 2 towels, floor towel and medium towel. We pulled out the sofa bed since it was 3 of us and wanted to have comfort. Well one of us went down and requested extra towels since we were short and some bedding for the sofa couch. The receptionist Marianne Holzer stated that because it was only 3 of us we did not need extra towels and that the room we booked was only for 2 which on the site showed it was for 3 people with a pull out sofa. Marianne Holzer started off okay but it ended up that she was not so friendly at all. She knew when we checked in it was 3 people and when explained that we didn’t have towels it was an issue. Last hotel we stayed at was very accommodating with towels since we did have an 8 year old with us who uses his own towel. Just confused what the issue was.

Just ok This hotel is ideally placed for attending a concert at Donau-allee, it about a 15 mins walk from the hotel...that was our reason for the visit. The hotel is a little tired, very warm but the staff are excellent and the breakfast perfectly adequate. It's about 15 mins from the old town and a taxi cost is €20 each way. You can get on a number 5 bus which takes between 20-25 mins, on a short stay that felt too long for us. The hotel restaurant was closed in the evening when we went, do try the Bambusgarten thai across the lake. If you get room here, ask for lakeside rather than over the road and entrance, the noise from the smokers out front was unbearable most evening.

Decent hotel Room 128, situated in a quiet business park, 200 meters from small market, 1 kilometre from Mc Donald’s, 2 kilometres from a decent mall, pretty good wifi, as all German hotels almost non existent english tv channels, Friendly staff , Small bar inside the lobby, good size free parking lot, I would stay there again. 100%

Yet another great Achat property! We so love the Achat properties! This hotel was lovely! Beautiful, modern room and exceptionally clean! The staff at the front desk were outstanding with their customer service! Very friendly and extremely helpful in every way! I appreciated all of their kindness! Highly recommend!
