Average hotel for an above-average price We were given a room very close to the lobby (112) even though I had requested a higher floor at time of booking. If that request cannot be granted, it should be even an option at time of booking. I was assured by the check in staff that the room is a quiet room & I will not hear any noise. Our family could not sleep till 1:30AM as there were teenagers sitting on sofas near the lobby & having a party till 1:30AM. I finally went to talk to the receptionist & told them about it. The guy said he was going to call security. I dont understand why he couldn't tell them himself that they need to stop. Why wait till 1:30AM? We had a very disturbed sleep and are not happy at all about it. This inspite of me requesting a higher floor room at time of booking and requesting it at time of arrival. My son bought muffins from the small area near the check-in desk and said they were terrble tasting like they were spoiled. The breakfast was not that good.

Hyatt Place Dewey Beach Very clean, modern and comfortable lodging. The staff was always eager to accommodate our every need and went above and beyond our expectations. The location is right on the bay and the sunset was gorgeous. Just a few minute walk across the street is the ocean. Who could ask for anything more?

Dewey beach vacation Good place to stay for a long weekend at the beach. Close to restaurants and other local attractions. . Great access to the beach area and transportation to Rehoboth beach. Prefer if the property had an outdoor pool though!

Great stay, disappointing breakfast Please upgrade your continental breakfast and coffee selection. It’s not good. Waffles were terrible and barely warm, the eggs are powdered- no flavor, and no breakfast potato/hash brown. An omelette and/or waffle station would help. Consider Green Mountain coffee

Double check your room This hotel location is awesome. It is only a block away from public beach. Me and a male friend of mine decided to take a weekend get away and we stayed at this hotel. We reserved a two queen bed the of a room and we ended up with one king size bed. A hostess told me I can use a Sofa bed as a second bed and once I opened the bed, the sheets were dirty! I think for $600 per night we should have at least have a clean sheets. The complementary breakfast was bad too. Only eggs, bacon, coffee and some juices. The hotel was crowded and people were talking so loud at 1 and 2 am on the hallway. You could hear everything going on outside your room. The quality of the service was very low in general. Not expected this from Hyatt, but considering all corona situation maybe it’s better than nothing.
