Decent Cheap Hotel We stayed one night at the Holiday Inn in Richardson before flying out of Love Field the next day. The location was excellent right off the freeway with lots of restaurants nearby. The property is older and could use a refresh. The room was clean though which was good. For longer stays, I would prefer a different property.

Great night after the big storm. Went in late after searching the city for a room for the night. We had a big storm that morning and many areas were without power including my home. After an exhausting search for a room for a night, I came in close to 8:00 PM, I was warmly greeted by a kind gentleman who seemed to be possibly a manager. He graciously found an available room and offered a breakfast voucher. The room was cool, clean and perfect. Went down to the restaurant and sat at the bar. Was promptly greeted by the bartender Refugio. He was poised, polished and professional. I had a cocktail while I waited for my to-go order. I was surprised how savory and flavorful the quesadillas were, nice portion as well. My son ate every bite. I had the ribeye steak with vegetables and onion rings. the steak was cook to a perfect med-rare and the vegetables were crisp, well-seasoned and delicious. The onion rings were ample for two, crisp, and seasoned perfect. We watched the Mavericks game and then went to bed. The room was cool and quite comfortable all thru the night. In the morning, we enjoyed the breakfast buffet. It was filled with many selections and then some. We both left for work but not before sharing breakfast conversation about how enjoyable our stay was. Thank you for taking us at such a late hour. We really appreciate the gracious, warm, and welcoming hospitality we received by your entire staff. I look forward to my next visit!

Dissatisfied with service, no TV service at all, Never go back. It was so disappointing. The TVs in the rooms did not work and maintenance came to my room and said they were having problems with getting in service for the TVs. I was looking forward to relaxing and watching TV. Also the bartendar ignored me sitting at the bar, not friendly at all. I finally left because he proceeded to mess with ice and other things besides the customer. They also charged for the breakfast, no signs or anything, usually breakfast buffets are fee and this one was pricey. The last thing I went to the front desk to ask for a extra shampoo, he was unfriendly, grabbed a box with things in it and I am older can't see well so I asked which one was shampoo versus conditioner and he never answered me just said just take what you want. The staff could deiinately get some training on customer service, which was not there. I would never stay here again.

Cold Shower, Broken Elevators and Room Needs Repairing My husband went to take a shower and he said the water is cold (barely lukewarm even on highest "hot" setting). The elevator has issues. One side doesn't work at all, the other side brakes are screeching. Needs staff, only 1 person at front desk and in the restaurant when we arrived at this hotel. Our kids said the indoor pool was not that warm. The room has broken fixtures on the sink and furniture. The small fridge was okay. Our children looked for a vending machine and couldn't find one in the hotel. The hotel store was closed. We ate elsewhere the hotel menu is expensive and breakfast is not included.

Friendly staff but lots of issues Booked hotel for the outdoor pool which was empty. There were elevator issues. Fridge didn’t work. TV was small. Staff was wonderful. We appreciated the on-site spa. Privately owned hotel - not the IHG standard we are used to. Won’t be back.
