In airport great hotel Absolutely the closet hotel to the ticket counters/check-in and baggage at and in the airport. Expensive but worth it. No more than 10 minutes from room to check-in counter at your major airlines. Just roll your bags there. Hotel was great, good food, great service, fine room, great beds, coffee (and decaf) provided, shower supplies, good supply of towels, etc., TV, ice just down the hall (bucket in room). Bathroom is separate area with enclosed facilities. Great shower (hot and full blast if you want it). (Had a room for two) Great Queen/King bed, multiple sheets/covers (can adjust depending on your personal heat/cool preferences), Bed-side tables, two chairs, desk and long vanity, refrigerator, suitcase stand, good-size closet. Dark-out drapes. 4 pillows. Great comfort. If you want to take advantage of early, non-stops, this is the place to stay. TAB

Best Rest and comfortable stay! Very well located Hotel, Best rest, I had all trip! Beds comfortable, Bathroom well laid out, spacious and comfortable. Shower was awesome with lots of amenities placed at the comfortable location for use. Checking in was a pleasure and bellman was pleasant and was very easy to deal with.

Excellent convenient base.Loved Fairmont Gold Lounge and Globe@YVR restaurant. Working on advancing from Platinum to Diamond Accor levels. On our way back from first-time stays at Fairmont Banff Springs, The Rimrock Resort Banff, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. We chose this Fairmont because of its convenient in-terminal airport location, which was perfect. We used as a base in Richmond to sample some of the 400 Chinese restaurants raved about in my Cantonese Food Recipes group, a nearby Uber ride away. We also took the SkyTrain across the street to the Richmond Night Market. We loved the Fairmont Gold Lounge: elegant relaxed setting with runway view, friendly professional staff, quality offerings at breakfast and in the evenings. The real surprise was the popular Globe YVR restaurant downstairs. Glad we had an Open Table reservation. The best oysters on the half shell; amazing preparation of Seared Scallops with Pea Puree, Spring Salad, Fresh Mint, Crispy Prosciutto, Pickled Red Onion; Heirloom Tomato Salad with Avocado, Blood Orange-Coriander Broken Vinaigrette, Garden Fennel Tips, Picked Watermelon Rind, Grilled Sourdough. We look forward to returning.

A relaxing place after/before a long flight I arrived at the hotel after a long flight and before my next and I enjoyed the whole experience. The people on the front desk were welcoming and friendly. This was followed through in the whole hotel. The lounge where you can have a quiet drink, the beautiful clean rooms .... a wonderful experience.

Medical reason with family and treated like an absolute gem Exceptional Front Staff and Bellman. Hospitality was kind and extremely genuine.It was also my birthday and provided 2 surprise personalized birthday deserts . Just love the beds !! Loved the view out my window watching the planes coming and going ..A great favorite hotel..Have been coming for 25 years
