Saturday evening We stayed Saturday evening.. for dinner bed and breakfast.. food for all meals was delicious. Friends joined us too, for dinner, and they enjoyed their meals too Waiting staff, in fact all staff are wonderful in the hotel, and we were treated like royalty… all food and drink carries a 3.5% service charge, which is discretionary. We chose to pay as the service was good, the staff were so kind, and really looked after us It’s fairly expensive, but we felt if was worth it just for the lovely staff and delicious food alone… Our room didn’t have a view, and couldn’t open the windows but had air conditioning thank goodness which worked well. We had a walk in shower which was necessary for us.. all very clean, good quality bedding and toiletries provided.. Lovely walk along the Thames not far, just watch the bikes don’t knock you over.. Hotel not dog friendly sadly for us..we missed our doggie. Will come back again one day Thank you to all the mangers and staff who cared for us, and always with a friendly smile

Perfect Sunday lunch with a fabulous view! Excellent experience from initial reservation call to the perfect Sunday lunch! Recently visited the Petersham for lunch to celebrate my father’s birthday. Great choices within the set menu and the quality of the food & service were both 5 star. We were lucky to have a table located by the window so had the addition of a fabulous view. When I called to make the reservation I was asked if we were celebrating a special occasion & I mentioned that it was my father’s birthday. On the day, the restaurant manager, Umit Eruyar, wished my father happy birthday & also presented a dessert plate with a candle. It was such a lovely touch & a perfect end to a lovely meal.

Excellent stay whilst attending Wimbledon Tennis Excellent hotel -stayed for a few days when we were at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships . The location cannot be any better. Simply stunning views, beautiful walked along the banks of the Thames either to Petersham Nurseries in one direction or a leisurely stroll into Richmond in the other direction. Service is excellent and the breakfast was delicious, fabulous views and and service was immaculate - Atan in the restaurant was outstanding and could not do enough to make sure we were well looked after - thank you. Our hotel room were very comfortable and immaculately clean. The hotel is also adjacent to Richmond Park. Will definitely be returning.

It should be perfect, it fell down on quite a few areas The bedrooms lacked air conditioning, and the restaurant staff were inflexible, including waiting staff who were not permitted to take orders. We encountered a particularly grumpy waiter who refused to accommodate even minor changes to menu items based on preferences. The view was the only redeeming feature, but unfortunately, most windows face other directions, making it hard to enjoy. Parking was a challenge, as the spaces were crowded and difficult to navigate. I won’t be returning

Caring and considerate service We enjoyed a lovely evening in the cellars to celebrate my Dad’s 87th birthday. The staff were great and very attentive. The food was excellent. My parents were staying the night and enjoyed a comfortable night and excellent breakfast. It was when my mother suddenly became unwell the staff should their calibre. They were excellent, in particular Helena! We were unable to leave as intended and they found a room and were very understanding and accommodating in exceptionally difficult circumstances. Thank you to all the staff for their support!
