Front desk is the worst Elevator doesn't work asked for a different room not on the 3rd floor because im a disabled vet with lung issues. Fatima at the front desk decided that wasnt a valid reason to change rooms and i had to wait to make sure no one was going to take their rooms on the first floor to change it. After checking out of my original room at 9am and coming back at 3pm...room 138 had no bolt on the door and they shoved a table in front of it and then said I was a liar when I complained about the safety issue. Told me they cancelled the rest of my reservation and to call Choice Hotels for a refund. I called. The front desk refused to check me out with a representative on the phone. This place should be condemned like the Rodeway Inn attached to it is.

DONT BOOK THIS PLACE!!!! Needs to be condemned....broken main door, broken TV, broken bathroom door, broken outside door. no towels for the shower, and broken furniture in the room. Cigarette burn in the bedding, and left over alcohol containers in the room. Ended up kicked out for asking for a new room with a TV that worked. just good for parties and renting by the hour...... Sketchy. Complaint placed with choice hotels as well. Terrible front desk service. DO NOT PAY THESE PEOPLE ANYTHING!

HIGHLY Disappointed DO NOT recommend !!! Before arriving and booking I called to get the logistics. I told the agent what i needed and asked if the hotel could accommodate. I was told yes. I was told that I can do a early check and a special note would be put in. I arrived at the agreed time to only be met with a clerk who stated that i should be aware of the policies and procedures. She stated, Everyone knows the check in time and that even though today is Saturday February 3rd our computer system is still on Friday, February 2nd for check in. I informed her that I did my best by calling, stating what I needed, and asked questions. I was met with utter rudeness. Fatima stated, there is nothing I can do for you. you should have known. If I had of known. I would have made alternative plans versus sleeping in the cold parking lot with my children an car jackings on the rise. Then she didn't even allow my small children to use the restroom. I am just glad we made it out alive. I called Monday to speak with a manager about the situation. The front desk personnel answered an said, Just tell me what you need. I said I need a manager to speak about my experience with the front desk over the weekend. He said you can just tell me. I said you didn't state who you were. Are you the manager? He then said fine and hung up. I hope this is not the standard or interaction in Richmond VA Quality INN. The frond desk statement on what I should and should not know, to the rolling of her eyes and yelling at me, and then to the manager Sam I am shocked and disappointed. A better of approach and communication should have happened even if she wasn't able to help. She could have said , Ma'am I do apologize that you were misinformed. This is ..... our policy and procedures regarding our check in moving forward. Can I have your name and number to follow up with you? there is nothing I can do at this time. however I can try to ensure that this doesn't happen again

Worse experience ever Please spare yourself the embarrassment… it’s basically closed and so maintenance being done but it’s a nightmare!! Upon arrival there’s no on in the lobby which is hot because of no ac… after checking in I had to get help finding the room and it looks like a bunch of homeless people walking around on the property. Mold in the rooms and just needs to be torn down!!! Thank the lord it was early enough in the evening and not dark out. After walking in the room and looking I was in amazement so I had to find someone to help me get my money back but before doing so I was made to take them to the room just to point out what made me decide not to stay. I only pointed out a couple things to be nice but dear god how can a place like this even be open I don’t understand. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable in my whole entire life traveling. Just know what you’re signing up for!!!

Bad experience Place is rundown elevator not working had to walk to the 3rd floor, stairway smells of urine furniture was torn smoke detector was missing no doorknob on balcony door also unable to secure it no plate inside microwave homeless people also living there and hanging in the hallway...I immediately went to the front desk and checked out and got a refund....that place should be removed from the choices list
