Great stay at the Hilton Sarah at the front desk was amazing. Convient parking. Very nice hotel, clean rooms, and friendly staff. Received messages welcoming us and asking how our stay is going. Nice lobby area and a restaurant in the hotel. Very happy with this hotel.

Not a Great Experience Overall The hotel is exposed to I-90 on 3 sides. I asked for a quiet room but the sweet young gal at check in wasn't aware of which were more or less noisy. I am a light sleeper and was awakened several times by truck and motorcycle noise. The bed was comfy but the bedding was awful-- the comforter had a bottom sheet and a fitted top cover instead of a duvet so I struggled half the night with all those darned covers that were all different sizes. Our toilet seat cover was broken and there was no conditioner in the wall dispenser. Neither of us enjoyed anything we ordered at the restaurant. But absolutely all the staff were cheerful and friendly and the hotel was clean and updated. Overall I doubt we'd stay again.

Peloton doesn’t work Chose Hilton over others nearby because of the Peloton partnership. I’m training for a ride and wanted to keep my training without bringing my bike. Most Hilton's have pretty tired and broken machines. I was surprised the bike was in good condition. This was because it wasn’t connected to the internet which makes it unusable. Nobody was able to get it connected to the Ethernet or wireless over three days. Not the end of the world, just frustrating when chose to pay extra for this hotel vs where some others in our group were staying.

Thumbs up all around Worth going a little off our route to stay at this hotel. HGI has it all for a weary traveler. Ate at the bar and watch the football game. We had the burgers that were some of the best we've had. Cooked to perfection! So nice not to have to go out again once we checked in. Nothing more to do but relax and unwind for the night.. perfect.

Wonderful Stay My husband is a Hilton Honors Lifetime Diamond member, so we've stayed in many Hilton properties. The HGI is a favorite. I wish there were more of them along major highways. Rockford HGI has super easy access from and to 1-90. Very nice, large, updated hotel. My only caution would be that the rooms can face either 1-90 or busy local Hwy 20: ask for a quiet room, as we did. Speaking of local, we asked the desk clerk for a dinner recommendation and got a 10% off coupon for a nearby restaurant, Tavern on Clark, where we had a delicious meal. Our room was attractive with comfortable queen beds. It's great that across all its brands Hilton is using low-scent, refillable toiletries. Nice to have a sit-down breakfast with reusable china and cutlery also. I'm making a note to stay here on future road trips.
