Bad experience- greedy owners We came with hockey tournament team. First, the add-on above what hotel rooms normally are was unreasonable and given the service just rediculous. Second - no flexibility. When I was booking the room through link provided by team, it crashed several times. I saw that it ended up creating 2 bookings, so I went ahead and canceled one. When I arrived to the hotel, it showed that I actually created 3 bookings and with one canceled, I had two rooms. I asked to cancel one - with $$ hotels make from tournament team stays, it is routinely done by other hotels. No flexibility here from hotel owners and management - I had to pay for my room + TWO extra nights for the other room. In addition, tv service across all rooms was out due to service outage - no apology from the hotel, nothing extra for the trouble, no discount.. The shower water was lukewarm, breakfast was miserable- usually hotels hosting teams provide fruit, bananas, yoghurt, variety of healthier bread options. Overall: hotel is not ready to host sports teams of families, too greedy to provide service. Bad, bad - I highly recommend to find another option for family or team travel.

Good Stay Easy check in/out. Room was clean and quiet. Refrigerator & microwave, breakfast was normal fare of eggs, a different meat each day, pancakes, cereal etc. laundry is $4 to wash & $4 to dry. Decided to wait until next hotel bc that’s a rip off. Behind bathroom door in room 100 needs attention as wallpaper had lifted about a foot & there’s mold under it next to bathtub. Door by us was not working to come in from parking lot/by pool. With our room being the last before outside door ..not sure who was smoking weed, but it was coming into our room via the AC (don’t think under the door). There’s a few restaurants very close by and that was nice after a long day of sightseeing,

CAR BREAK INS OVERNIGHT. BE CAREFUL!!! My car was broken into window busted . This hotel would do better with hiring a night shift security guard. It’s awful they didn’t even offer to pay or Nothing Awful place My car was one out of the 4 that this happened to overnight Be careful! You’re literally not even save at a nice hotel

Not a great stay We stayed here because it was close to a wedding we were attending and have had good experiences with HIEX in the past. Our first impression wasn’t good. The elevator and the 4th floor smelled like a marijuana grow house. The manager said he would take care of it and it did smell better later the next day but seems like this is an ongoing problem as other reviewers mention it. Not sure what can be done about it but it was the most intense pot smell I’ve ever smelled. It was bad. The next morning breakfast was not great. Like I said, we’ve stayed in other HIEX and the breakfast has always been better than this. Fitness center was closed and the first floor was under construction. Because of the construction, security was non-existent. On the positive side, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable but I wouldn’t stay there again. Being a Platinum Elite Member, I expected better.

Clean hotel overall - Shoutout to Michael at the front desk for exceptional service! The rooms were clean and the staff was wonderful. We want to give a shout-out to Michael at the front desk. He offered exceptional service not only to us but we witnessed several interactions with guests when we were sitting in the lobby to plan the next day with our traveling buddies. The fitness room was unfortunately closed while we were there and there is remodeling going on in the first floor. The breakfast area was clean and food was restocked quickly.
