Clean, quiet This is a clean, quiet two star hotel (very basic). The room overlooks the river and walking paths behind the building. The AC was good. The bed was a little firm, but no complaints really. There was a fridge and small, low watt microwave in the room. If you need to get off the road, or are in town for a night, this will meet your needs.

Good Option for Pet-Friendly Accommodations in Roseburg We needed a place to stay on our road trip from Sacramento to Seattle and Riverfront Inn was recommended to us as a dog-friendly spot. It surely was that, with park-like grounds between the building and the river. We were lucky enough to get a river view room. The little town is walkable, just across the river via a bridge. A few things: The front of the inn is not as inviting as the rear. The potted plants were dead and the landscape sort of brown. Our room had one comfortable chair and one uncomfortable metal chair and the air conditioner had broken controls. Our balcony had dividers that went partially to the deck, so as soon as we opened the door, our miniature schnauzer beat it under the divider to the next room. There is a homeless (albeit well-kept) camp under the bridge, which you can hear. We got there on a Monday and everything, including restaurants, was pretty much closed up tight, as it was on Tuesday morning. Had we gotten there on a different day, I think our experience would have been much more positive because the town looked engaging. The Inn had a continental breakfast that was okay, but we opted for the Denny’s across the street, which was the only restaurant we found open. All in all, for a pet-friendly inn with a very nice dog park, it was a good option.

Good value. We spent one night at this hotel. It was fine. Clean and plenty of hot water. The only drawback for us, not the fault of the hotel, was not choosing a room that faced the river. Our room overlooked the parking lot. If we are in the area again we would make sure our room faced the river.

Great room, great location, river view, amazing customer service. The Riverfront Inn exceeded my expectations by far. The room was super clean, well laid out, and looked like it’s been updated recently. I asked for and was given a ground floor room, which makes unloading/loading luggage a snap. And, true to its name, my room even had a river view. But the best part was the service. I arrived early in scorching heat after a long motorcycle ride. I knew I was 2 hours ahead of check-in, but decided to ask about early check in. Even though housekeeping staff was slammed, Danell (sp?) did a lot of work to get me in my room right away. She worked with housekeeping, the housekeeping manager, her co-manager, and others to get me into my room, the A/C, and a much-needed shower. Owners, I hope you’re listening: the staff is doing you proud.

I would return if the opportunity arises. Comfortable and clean with a river view! The room was clean and comfortable. I loved the river view! Front desk staff were friendly and helpful! We appreciated the location close to downtown and the hospital. Small parking lot but other patrons were considerate even though spaces were not marked per room.
