SCENTED TOLIET PAPER SERIOUSLY?!?! The worst thing for me was the scented toilet paper. I do not use anything scented — not pads, not wipes, im even limited to the type of soaps I can use as to not cause any discomfort or trigger a yeast infection. I was feeling irritated the first few days until I realized it was scented toilet paper (my mother had a nose bleed and that’s how we figured out it was scented). I went to the front desk to let management know and they informed me that is the standard. I am in disbelief as not everyone can use just anything especially scented products. I requested unscented and still they gave me 3 more scented rolls. At this point I want to be reimbursed for the gyn visit I have made immediately upon my return need to make as well as for the wipes and toliet paper I had to go out and buy. I spent the ENTIRE week there with an infection confirmed by my doctor because of the scented toilet paper!!! I wouldnt ask for a doctor on site because im sure they would charge me before treating me (for example last year when my sister was stung by a bee in her food $7000 jmd we had to pay just to be seen not even treated). I am currently seeking compensation or refund due to this matter. Staff tried to be very accommodating and that was a plus. Food was not good. Better off making reservations for the rooftop and even that wasnt always good. For example the plantain one night was tough, the fries were always undercooked and soggy. The drinks tasted watered down. The pasta station also does not have separate pots or utensils for those with shellfish allergies; they just rinse or dip in hot water. As for the room; we had to switch to a cottage due to inadequate spacing for myself and family. They accommodated this request and placed us in a cottage. Still, we waited several hours just to get comforters for the room (and they came damp as well). The loft area had ants as well as things that would fall onto the bed as I slept. Mattress and pillows were uncomfortable. Im attaching a picture of the bite I got the night prior as well this is more than a mosquito bite for sure. I got several of those and this doesnt compare. The area is red, tight and swollen. While most staff were accommodating, friendly and amicable there were two staff members (red shirts) I thought were incredibly rude as they pick and choose which rules they want to reinforce. Last year when I stayed, if i brought my mini speaker to the quiet pool (at a low volume) of course there were no issues or complaints from staff or guests. This year, two red shirt individuals (older male with a black hat and glasses and older female with the flag on their shirt and a stiff bob wig) told me to turn my music off. No other staff member had said anything and they even asked me to play music. I find it unfair that they pick and choose which rules to reinforce when children not allowed at the quiet pool or bar but yet they are not stopped when they are brought to quiet pool or bar areas. Either enforce all the rules with all staff or don’t. I also want to mention the cat calling and numerous attempts by male staff to speak to you to initiate {what feels like a sexual} relationship of some sort. I was reading the other comments and saw that there were other women who have commented this. On both visits I experienced this. Granted nothing escalated beyond the cat calling and the men would leave you alone (after some time —more often you have to leave where you’re sitting). I can handle my own however I don’t come on vacation to have to refuse advances — it can make guests very uncomfortable. Please speak to your male workers about this too.

Do Not Book At This Resort, Terrible place for a vacation Please do not book at this Resort. I just posted pictures of empty pans from the buffet. They keep running out of food, running out of plates. It’s like they don’t know how many guests are at the resort to feed. The hospitality worker are not friendly at all. And why are there 20 some cats running all over the property and in the dining room. Some people have allergies. And house keeping clean the room but don’t leave no towels. That’s because you have to wait until they wash and dry them. And to remind the front desk that we are still waiting on towels. This place needs new management, needs to be upgraded. This is so bad that if you show up for breakfast at 9:00 they are out of food. You show up for dinner at 7:00 they are out of food. And the same for lunch. Bugs and ants all on the floor and in the window. In the main dining area there was only one very friendly polite young lady name Carrie Ann always had a smile on her face, she asked how we were doing all the time want to know what we did each day. Please don’t book at this resort

DISGUSTING PLACE, RUDE STAFF AND HORRIBLE MANAGERS, NO FOOD after long wait!!! This place needs to be closed down, The front desk staff and the management should not be working there, they do not care about the guest, they are RUDE and extremely unprofessional!!! Especially the so called Manager I specifically booked an Ocean View Cottage, but i ended up in a room overlooking a parking lot, they did nothing to change this and did not even apologize . We checked in at 3pm and couldnt get a meal until 7:30pm, and the buffet kept running out of food, you also had to fight with the hungry cats in the dining room, they jumped on the table and got right into your plate. The line to the buffett were so long , this is a disgrace. There were no wash rags to bath with and the phones don't work so you could never reach housekeeping, The bartenders were not friendly, and be prepared to get a drink in an old plastic unsanitary cup!!! The walkways to the rooms are not properly lit so your walk to your room is treacherous and extremely dangerous. Be prepared to be eaten alive, the bugs and mosquitoes made the experience even more disastrous. Please take my foolish advice, this place is a total mess!!! I would never stay there again!!!

Great location -good food friendly Service Despite the toilet flooded us out at 2pm in the morning . Got moved to another room also the beds was shakey -Still was not compensated seafront cottages add to its charm, although the value is often questioned due to service inconsistencies, food quality concerns, and facility maintenance needs. While the rooms and amenities are recognized for requiring updates, the cleanliness generally receives positive remarks from guests.

Will continue to stay here while in Jamaica This is the second time I have stayed after a large gap, even with that it is still just as friendly and relaxing as I remembered. There are plenty of food choices, plenty of drinks choices and a lot of activities included in the resort. There are spa treatments and a laundry service at an additional cost. The cottage I stayed in had a double bedroom, twin beds on the floor above and a large couch in the living area that was used for a bed by us. We had a fridge in the room, I overheard a few rooms dis not have this but were given one after speaking to reception. The room was serviced daily and any extras required (towels, toilet paper, etc) were given. There is a laundry service available, but I will say I felt it was very pricy. I believe hotels like this would benefit from having their own laundry section where guests can pay to use the machines/dryers. There are 2 pools, one by the main entertainment area (chlorinated) and one quiet pool (salt water). Both pools have bars available. The Jasmine restaurant at lunch and after 11 have burgers, hot dogs, wings, etc which was a nice change from the buffet. The entertainment was good and the bar staff were an amazing part of our holiday. They are more than happy to provide you with any drink you ask within their stock (we had fussy drinkers lol). They could not do enough for you. The night club was good, it was quiet some nights but it was still great. Can't wait to go back.
