2nd review I couldn’t figure out how to add more photos to my original review so here are a few more regarding the cleanliness of the place. It’s filthy. If you stay here, just don’t look too close or you will be grossed out. Gum on the bed footboard! Dust an inch thick everywhere, filthy shower. Don’t he fooled by the pretty furniture. It’s nice but filthy. They should not be renting these places out until they are thoroughly cleaned. You get 2 very old thin tiny towels for an entire week. Not extra tp or dishwasher soap. You have to pay for extra.

Property in Poor Condition Our recent experience at Little Harbor Inn was less than satisfactory. The floors in our room looked clean, but the lighting was so poor that we didn't realize that the entire surface was covered with a greasy film that turned the bottoms of your feet black within 15 minutes. Bed was clean, but housekeeping was non-existent. Using the information provided in the room we were unable to contact ANYONE during our three day stay. How unprofessional to hear "the voice mailbox is full" and not be able to reach a person. We left messages and got no reply. We ended up driving into town and purchasing towels and washcloths to get through our stay. We encountered other guests who could not find ice machines and other basics. Other family members who rented townhouses and condos to better accommodate their large families said they were well apportioned and beautiful, but still lacked some basics like pans to cook with. The setting here is beautiful, but the property itself needs many repairs. Verandas were closed, tennis courts were used as a dumping ground for tree limbs. The long pier is lovely, but also needs some repair. The entire roof of the main building is faded and unsightly. Food was expensive and not that good. Drinks were good and the sunset was gorgeous. The list goes on... a very mixed bag that is disappointing overall. If you choose to stay here it is all about location. Pick the newer condos and townhouses and you will get a great pool and service. Choose to stay at the Inn with a kitchenette and you will not. Some of our fellow guests were actually scary, propping open their room doors and dragging furniture outside to sit and drink/smoke. As for us, we will not be back. We would recommend the new Holiday Inn Express by the interstate or for a more laid-back feel Pirate's Point on Shell Point Road where we have had better experiences.

Not a resort room, more like a cheap motel You will read many reviews about the conditions of rooms here. We have stayed here a couple times, no more. Maintenance severely suffers here. Most rooms are private owners and are rented by the front desk. The stays for folks are a day or two. A few stay week or month. For a poor motel room, a day stay is okay. No working ice machine, cold pool (sorry heater broken), smelly long dark hallways, much more, the place is old. The main pool is run by Hook's restaurant. Many outsiders use the pool by buying something (supposedly) and are loud and rowdy and swearing into the evening dark, no supervision anywhere !!! We were told to share our pool area table so some others could have their lunch. I'm a paying guest, they were drop ins! We left. This place really sucks. Room pricing is deceiving, many unknown charges appear at check in. The shore is fenced off so you can't fish now, tennis courts have no nets this year, shuffle board cement so bad the disk jumps off the pad. I could go on and on. If you don't stay here the 2 restaurants are good to visit from outside.

Great area, Bad room The good or the bad first? The Good: the property is AMAZING! The food was out of this world good, the beach is so awesome. They have kayak rentals, an outdoor bar area, a firepit, lighted walkway, pier... There was a little craft show when we were there, there are picnic tables with little charcoal grills.. we didn't even get to eat at the 2nd restaurant on the grounds. OH! And THREE pools! All of that makes the bad, not so bad. But. The room. I don't know if we need to buy them cleaning products? It could be so cute if they would just do a little bit with the rooms. The curtains are disgustingly dirty and full of holes. The floors had left over spills that had accumulated dirt. The two chairs could not be used because they were so disgustingly either stained and/or dirty. We took Clorox wipes and wiped literally everything down but we did NOT use those chairs. So the grounds made this a Very good experience but the room alone was Terrible.
