Horrible I was lied to by 4 Hilton employees at this location. After seeing the complaints about broken air conditioning, I called ahead and asked if there would be adequate AC in our room, the hallways, and the elevator. I was lied to. When I got there, I asked to see the room. It looked clean, but the curtains were drawn back and the full afternoon sun was heating up the room. It was 101 degrees outside. Again, I was told that all I had to do was turn down the AC. I did and we moved in our luggage with zero help for staff. The room didn't cool off. I called the front desk and they said there were no rooms available. My heart monitor started to alert me that I was in danger, so I called the front desk and said we were leaving and to send someone to help with our luggage. At this point there were several people in line at the front desk. The man helping without luggage said he would make sure we were reimbursed for the night. We thanked him and tipped him. At this point I was desperate to cool off, so we drove away. We were there an hour, but the front desk is refusing a refund because I didn't wait in a hot lobby for 45 minutes to check out in person. I was having a medic emergency AND an employee told me it was handled. I will never stay at another Hilton property.

Not a good place to stay. Read the many reviews regarding no A/C There was no A/C and no one cares. The reviews are full of “no A/C “ for over a year now. It was over 90 outside for most of our visit to Sacramento so how can they not care? We were part of a group event that was based in this hotel. We arrived fairly late in the evening. All the corridors and hallways were ovens and our room was 86 degrees. Front desk had their hands full because the A/C didn’t work in our whole building Eldorado. They offered to have maintenance look at it but after an hour of waiting for someone to “look at the thermostat” I gave up. I called down and said I couldn’t take the heat and we would be checking out in the am. We were scheduled for two nights AND THEY CHARGED US FOR THE SECOND NIGHT! Even though We checked out the next morning.

Did not meet expectations. The Doubletree Sacramento was not up to Hilton’s standards. The pool was green and the hot tub was a cesspool. See the attached pictures. Also, there was no A/C in the hallways, stairwells, and elevators. The room A/C did not cool the room sufficiently with 100+ temperatures outside. The rating of 2 stars is fair. The room was clean and the staff was good. I will not stay there again. Doubletree can do better than this.

Did you even hear me? So perturbed and I just checked in. I have mobility issues and a temporary handicapped placard and specifically requested to be in a room near an elevator and close to the pool as I can only exercise in water. Not only did they place me in a building that has no elevator of its own, the closest entrance to the neighboring building elevator was up stairs, I had to walk down a non air-conditioned hallway to access the building they placed me in and then the room was nearly on the other end of the hallway. It's as though I was talking to myself with my requests. When I finally finished the trek to the room and attempted to call about the issue and request a different location, no answer. So now I'm stuck in a room that I have to hurt myself to gain access to. Horrible start to my stay.

Above and beyond great customer service The best customer service in A Sacramento hotel in our travels across California. My family travels at least 2 times a year. We have stayed everywhere from LA To Lake Tahoe. 5 star hotels to lower end hotels. But the professionalism and hospitality we received by Chef Keith was above and beyond
