Sooooo LOUD If you desire a peaceful night of sleep, this hotel is not for you. The windows are not soundproof at all and you can hear every bit of road noise from the street below. Apparently, motorcycles love to race in this neighborhood at midnight making it difficult for the whole family to stay asleep. I’ll likely never stay at this hotel again.

My last Stay at any Embassy suites. Stay away if possible. I have been staying at Embassy Suites more than 25 times in my last 2 decades, almost always when I travel with family, and some times for business. Main reason is the hot breakfast and expected consistency in good and clean accommodation. Room was not as Embassy suites standard. The buffet break fast standard was beyond terrible. Long wait times for getting substandard food and servers with waist long hair bring food with hair dripping all over the food. Many were seeing what I saw and making faces. After my stay, I called up customer service line mentioned in receipt and complained, wasted my time explaining. Hilton created a case 12 days back and mentioned they will investigate in 3 days and get back. I followed up after 10 days and the email response asked me to contact the Hotel directly. The 1 star is due to the apathy of Hilton in dealing with this case. I feel the best way to raise awareness is thru a visible feedback here in Tripadvisor. July 4th we went to Memphis and I stayed at Peabody. Embassy suites is off my list.

Made to order "Omelet" not "Breakfast" We spent two nights at the Embassy Suites. We chose this hotel because we always liked the amenities associated with the Embassy Suites, specifically, large rooms, made to order breakfast, happy hour and indoor pool. We were well received upon arrival, I was a little disappointed that I didn't receive any fruit as part of my Hilton Diamond "my way benefits" (see photo). Our room was as expected spacious and comfortable with good bathroom amenities. I wish they offered mouth wash, but was happy they had lotion (welcome after dry airplane air). At night we had our next hiccup with the curtains not closing well. I think this problem has persisted for a while as we saw that someone had used one of the clip hangers to hold the curtains closed. Arriving at happy hour/reception we were greeted warmly at the entrance. We were amused by the breakfast sign that required proper footwear (see photo). I guess proper attire at the reception is not required as I saw a young lady approach the bar wearing a bikini. The next morning we came down early for breakfast and were disappointed that the trademark "free made-to-order breakfast" has become "free made to order omelet and buffet breakfast" as the omelet is the only thing prepared fresh and everything else is buffet style (see photos). The funniest (or saddest) thing was that the make your own waffles station had a tip jar!!! Whom exactly am I tipping? Myself for making the wonderful waffles with a smile. Another example of tipping going out of control. On a positive note I really like the fresh strawberry sauce that was available for the waffles and the omelet was very good. The buffet pancakes were not great, but the cut fruit was tasty. I was also disappointed by such a tiny pool for a large hotel. Our final night we were woken up in the middle of the night by kids knocking on the doors and sprinting down the hall. I heard them do many sprints so assume other guests were rudely awakened. Upon checkout, I informed the reception of the incident with the exact time, hoping the cameras would identify the children and the room they belong to. Unfortunately the hotel has no cameras in the hall (good news for any midnight streakers). Also during checkout I requested a 2 pm checkout as part of the Hilton Diamond benefits. I was told, that by policy only 1 pm was permitted or there would be a $50 charge. Other Hilton hotels check their reservations to see if they can accommodate before refusing. My conversation was overheard by another guest who said that he had a similar experience during check-in, where he arrived thirty minutes early with the room ready and was told he would need to pay $25 if he wanted to check-in early. Since we couldn't keep the room we just stored our luggage. Upon our return to pick-up our luggage, I went to the lobby bathroom to change into my travel clothes. Entering the bathroom I noticed the final deficiency of the hotel. Both toilet paper rolls were empty! (See photos)The only option was to use tissues. Clearly the lobby bathroom was not serviced in a very long time or was really badly serviced. In summary, I was very disappointed with my favorite Hilton hotel brand. The high point was an amazing Thai restaurant just across the street called "Aubergine".

Not worth the price This was actually my first time staying at any Embassy Suites property and based on Hilton's relentless efforts to distinguish this brand as a more luxurious, all-suite hotel. I typically frequent Fairfield by Marriott hotels which I find to be your best bang for your buck. Very long line at check in, room was super dark and outdated. Was marketed as a one- bedroom suite when it’s really just a long and narrow shoe box. All things considered, not worth the extra cost associated with this property.
