AUSTRIA TREND EUROPA SALZBURG

Location Location Location Austria Trend Hotel Europa was in the ideal location for what I needed and was reasonable when I booked way in advance. When I arrived by train from Innsbruck to Salzburg the hotel is just across the street from the train and bus station. You have to look way up to notice the hotel sign or you might wonder where is the hotel. When departing Salzburg I needed to get to the airport which is 25 minutes away but is also very easy to take the bus number 2 across the street from the hotel direction towards Walserfeld. Buy your ticket at the machine. It costs 2.40 Euros. The hotel is very clean and the room was spacious and quiet. The room was facing the opposite side of the train station. The lobby has a water dispenser that comes in handy to fill up your water bottle. Walking to Mirabell Palace and Gardens is a short 10 - 15 minute easy straight walk on RainerstraBe street from the hotel. When you notice a park on the right hand side of the street with very large trees turn in and then take the path to your left which is an easy way to the Mirabell Gardens and the steps and gate of where the Sound of Music was filmed of Maria and the children singing Do Re Mi on the steps. Across the gate is the area of sculptures of dwarfs which was also filmed in the movie. I also took an excursion of the Original Sound of Music and Salt Mines Tour and had to meet at the Panorama Tours Kiosk to meet the bus tour which is beside the St. Andrae Church and on the opposite side of the street across Mirabell Gardens. So convenient to walk from Hotel. Another convenience of staying at the Austria Trend Hotel Europa is the restaurants close by. It worked out quite good for me. The Asia Imbiss restaurant right across the street is very good and very reasonable. The Leichtsinn Feel Good Restaurant is a few blocks away from the hotel on the right hand side and is also good and not expensive but they close early.

Perfect location Most convenient location in Salzburg if you are reaching by train. The breakfast is adequate, if not excellent. The view from breakfast area is amazing. Good hotel at a decent price. The hotel provided wheelchair accessible rooms. The rooms are quite spacious.

Awesome stay!! The rooms are big! The staff is very kind! Check in was smooth! They have kettle, working air conditioning (wow!) and hair dryers in the room which was extremely helpful. 2 indian restaurant around the corner and a market area! 140 mtrs from the train station, thus, centrally accessible!

Only a 2 star for us Only a 2 star for us. Basic and bog standard. No complimentary tea or coffee despite there being the equipment in the room and asking for it on the first day. Only just meeting our cleanliness expectations. Empty shower gel in the bath and no complimentary toiletries to use. Breakfast was ok not the best of choices. Location is ideal for being central and close to the station.

Ideal hotel for getting around Lovely hotel and close to train and bus stations. Lovely location for getting out and about. Gorgeous view from our bedroom window on 10th floor. Would recommend for certain. Comfy beds and plenty of space.
