Props to the Red Lion staff. Stayed a few nights @ The Red Lion hotel in San Angelo,TX. Barbara Oakley & the rest of the house keeping staff did a wonderful job making sure we felt @ home during our stay here,, & made sure we had everything we needed. & were very friendly about it. Thank you so much, & I will be staying here again in the near future.

Great clean and comfortable hotel, horrible staff and management! I stayed there over a month ago so this is not a kneejerk reaction post. I had a prepaid room through hotels.com and at checkout they asked me to provide a credit card!!! I told them that they should have it onfile from checkin but they insisted for me to provide a credit card as "the card onfile has an incorrect expiration date". I handed them the same card from checkin and I left. Later that day I noticed a $67 charge on my card. Called the hotel and told them that the room was prepaid. They refunded the charge. Then....9 days later...when I had already returned from my trip, I noticed a $980.73 charge on my card. After multiple calls to the hotel and speaking once with the manager, all communications stopped. All my messages have been ignored so far. I let Amex figure this out but the level of ignorance by the management is appalling!

Celebration of my Moms 81st birthday The staff was friendly and helpful. The manager checked on us several times: the manager made sure everything was going well with preparing for our celebration: he also came by during celebration to make sure everything and everyone had what they needed: we had a great stay with a wonderful celebration:

Very modern, clean, and nice hotel This hotel is updated, very clean, and run by very friendly staff - - a very nice hotel. The rooms are nice, standard. Bed, desk, vanity, couch, and tables. Clean rooms and bath. Very nice morning buffet. Super choice to stay. Located along water and street. Ample parking.

Great let-friendly hotel We were re-routed here after accidentally booking a place that wasn’t pet-friendly. We were so happy to find this place after mid-night. The staff was really friendly and the room was great (comfortable and clean). We will be staying here again.
