Great staff; Well-appointed rooms Impressed with front desk (two different guys) who helped out on a couple of minor questions I had. Great location for access to a number of tourist attractions. Plenty of outlets in the room. Very nice fitness room. Generally clean everywhere. Noticed that people seemed to enjoy sitting in the lobby while waiting for someone. Will definitely stay here again; in fact I may be back in a couple weeks.

Needs New Hospitality Management and Leadership A severe disappointment to say the least. Looks are everything. Hallway and stairway carpets were filthy. Shower tub mold in caulk lines. Snack room shelves at least 1/3 empty and not refilled during an entire week stay. Fresh fruit bowl ($1) was the single moldy orange for 4 days straight. Request for fresh towels midway during the week was ignored. Two magazines dated July 2021 sat dog eared on the lobby table. Quite apparent that hotel manager and staff do not understand the basics of good hospitality service. This all starts at the top with Candlewood Suites regional and national management. First and last time I will stay at this IHG property brand.

Small "suite" Kind of a disappointment. I was fairly sure I requested a ground floor suite and 2 queen beds. Got neither. The ground floor suites were not available until an hour after we checked in, and we were there to check in close to 4PM. After a very long drive we did opt for the suite available. Now for the "suite". Very small. 1 queen bed, and no other seating in the room other than a desk chair. There was a kitchenette which was fine, but with no other seating other than the desk chair it made eating in the room problematic. And an elevator ride every time the dogs wanted out was also problematic. The hotel was fully booked so there was no opportunity to switch rooms. I think the term "suite" for the room was stretching it. For a single person probably fine but for a couple, not so much. But I will say the staff was nice and the coffee in the little convenience store by the lobby was excellent. Bets coffee I have ever had in a hotel. It is not enough to make me stay there again.

Nice stay Hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful, nice and friendly. I would definitely come back. Room was stocked up with plates , cups, toaster , iron and ironing board. They have a fitness center and laundry too. Great for an extended stay.

Needs updating! Everything needs to be updated. The chairs in the room are completely worn out - the fabric has actually worn down to the frame. These look like they were picked up beside a dumpster. They are not even garage sell quality. I asked for a sheet to cover them because we were scared to sit on the fabric - definitely not sanitary. I spoke to the front office and they agreed the furniture was less than acceptable. As a response, I was offered to ‘check out’. Believe me, we would have - but all hotels were booked in the area. Reluctantly giving two stars, one star for the free coffee. but disappointed in their representation of the IHG brand. This will not be forgotten and will avoid Candlewood Suites for future stays.
