Embassy Suites by Hilton San Antonio NW I-10

Hotel with no housekeeping? I called the front desk at 11:07 PM to request a mattress pad and blanket for the fold out couch, as well as additional towels since there were only two for three people. I was told that no housekeeping items could not be provided after 11 PM and I would have to wait until tomorrow to receive them. I asked if I could retrieve the items if I came to the front desk and was told that front desk staff did not have access to these items. Thinking I must have misunderstood, I went to the front desk to let the two people there know that I needed a blanket for the bed, figuring I could live without the towels and mattress pad. The gentleman informed me that their housekeeper had quit and there was no one to get what we needed. I was so thrown off by that statement; this is a hotel, after all. I told him we were not told of this 11 PM cut off and he said we should have been given a paper at check in. We did, in fact, not receive any paper at check in. I expressed my dissatisfaction and he told me he would bring my concerns to the attention of the management of the hotel. The woman at the desk then asked me what room I was in and what exactly I needed. I told her of the blanket and towels, she took down my room number and said she would send them up. I asked if we would receive them tonight or tomorrow because now I wasn't so sure. About 20 minutes later, the same woman brought me 3 foul smelling towels and a highly suspect looking blanket. I certainly wish I had the option of going someplace else tonight. I'm not sure what kind of sanitation has taken place thus far since housekeeping staff is lacking. I would not recommend for my friends or enemies to stay here.

Very nasty hotel .. Everything was terrible restroom was nasty had roaches refrigerator was not working couch was dirty carpet was dirty smell nasty had to buy candles. Everything was just bad . No one clean room it was just bad .

Average Rooms but poor service Rooms had a horrible smell of mold/mildew. Sofa bed had bed bugs. The front desk and the staff just did not seem to care about anything. The only good thing was the cook to order breakfast. Would not recommend this property.

Never Seen An Embassy Suites Like This It all started with my digital key check-in on the app which wouldn't work and was asked to check in at the front desk. Only 1 employee was at the front and there were several people waiting in line. Once I got my room keys and went in the room, it smelled, there were numerous stains on the carpet which appeared to be blood stains everywhere, the bed sheets and comforter also had blood stains, there were only 3 bath towels (for 4 of us) and no hand towels nor wash cloths. After coming out of the shower and starting to dry, the bath towels available STUNK!! During our stay, we requested a blanket on the 2nd night and it was never brought to us although we found it laying on the floor outside our door the following morning unwrapped. There was no way we were going to use it in that condition. We were on the 2nd floor and the ice machine did not work, I walked up to the 3rd and 4th floors and neither of those ice machines worked. I finally found some ice on the 5th floor ice machine. My wife saw a huge cockroach in the women's bathroom downstairs in the lobby area and the entire hotel had a "DIRTY" appearance to it. I have NEVER seen an Embassy Suites facility look like this before nor experienced these kinds of things. Totally disappointed!!!

Amazing Anyone who can see this. I have never had such a high level of hospitality. The building was under construction, which means improvements are on the way, but the staff was off the hook. This place is a destination hotel for sure. I have three kids and was actually relaxed because the staff, specifically Kathrine and Pavel could practically read our minds during dinner and happy hour. Something special is happening at this Embassy suite, stay hear and find out.
