Valet 100% Recommend Start off by thanking Daniella George with valet, very good guest service with a smile opened our doors, greeted us too Hotel Gibbs, assisted with our luggage to front desk, explained and answered all our questions and even played peek a boo with our toddler so she could stop crying and it worked_ differently loves her job! Thank you again Daniella George!

Deserves a 5 ! It's hard to rate this hotel. We went so hubby could go to conference at convention center. We were there for 4 nights. Unfortunately, there were a/c problems. Our room was not very comfortable. We stuck it out. The hotel did everything they could to help us. Gave us fans for our room, comped the valet and drinks at the bar. They could not comp our room because hubby had booked thru a travel site. The hotel was beautiful with very close location to everything. The Alamo was right across the street and the River Walk was a short distance. Yes, we'd stay there again. Please give it a try!

Really disappointed We were originally planning on spending 3 nights at the Emily Morgan Hotel and were really looking forward to it.  As Hilton Honors Members, we were excited to have been upgraded. Upon arriving at the hotel, that excitement quickly came to an end.  I immediately noticed that although the thermostats were set to 47 degrees, the room was very warm. I turned the thermostat off for a few minutes hoping to reset the system. However, the room never cooled, but only got warmer.  The weather was in the high 90s and very humid. We reached out to the front desk to inform them that the A/C was not working. Lee initially said he would send someone to the room,  but later stated that maintenance went home for the day, and sent up a box fan. This is when I was told that the entire hotel was having A/C issues. That night was extremely uncomfortable with the box fan blowing hot humid air. The next day, the air was still not cooling when we left for the day. We returned in the afternoon to an even hotter room.  At this point, the A/C was completely turned off as the work performing repairs.  These conditions we completely unacceptable. I spoke with Johnny at the front desk, and he stated that this issue had begun a few days ago. I wished this had been brought to our attention prior to our arrival. I asked what my options were. Johnny mentioned that they were offering refunds, and advising guests who were checking in about the A/C issue. I had booked with points and was advised that my points would be refunded in a week if I cancelled my reservation. I decided to cancel my reservation and book another property. The hotel we booked with actually knew Emily Morgan was having A/C issues, as they had heard from multiple guests. I had high expectations for this hotel and was genuinely looking forward to our stay there. I’m highly disappointed at this issue and how it was handled. If we were advised about the AC issue before our stay, we would have never checked in, and could have found different accommodations.

Remember the Alamo! Friendly staff! Very good at solving problems/issues we had (not hotel related). Valet staff (Jay), along with others, were very polite and worked well under stress. Dealing with the public is always a challenge - the employees we encountered during our 5 day stay made our visit to the Emily Morgan Hotel a pleasant experience- thank you!

Amazing Fiesta 2024 I had the most Amazing Stay for Fiesta 2024. Off to a rough start through. Booked a year in advance because I know how busy Fiesta gets,and I wasn’t able to choose my room. Now I choose rooms because of the view, so a little disappointed when the app didn’t allow me to choose I was given what was available because of a convention. I received at text from the front desk (Caleb) asking me how was my stay and if everything was going well.This was a game changer,I felt as if now I had a font desk personal assistant interested in my needs and was dedicated to ensuring I had the best stay possible. When I did have an issue, Lee was there to assist me with a room upgrade. The room was beautifully and more than I could have hoped for. I could actually see the parade from my window. The front desk,housekeeping and the restaurant staff were all top notch.I literally walked out the front door and crossed the street and was in the Alamo Gift Shop. So close to everything. Thanks again Caleb & Lee already booked for Christmas. See you Soon
