Disappointing Total waste of money. Way too expensive for a subpar stay. The linens were stained. The floors were dirty. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom, no toilet paper holder. The shower rod is busted and hanging down so you can’t properly close the curtain. The hot tub was more like a lukewarm bath with no controls and the front desk clerk supposedly has no access to it. The room smelled of mildew. Do not stay here with high expectations but expect to pay a hefty bill.

Mr-GGs-Holiday-inn-San-Antonio-TX Good Room and bathroom were clean. A/C works well. Strong Wifi. Desk chair raises to a reasonable work height and has good arm rests. The desk light is brightness adjustable. Excellent bathroom lighting. The mattress is comfortable. Not good No electric outlets at work desk height. You have to stretch a multi-socket extension cord from a socket under the TV to have multiple outlets for a laptop and phone and tablet chargers. The shower does not have any body wash, only shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Why can't a bar of soap be provided? Woeful lack of room lighting; no lighting along the wall where suitcases are placed. Breakfast was not good because the oatmeal was COLD, not hot, and the other breakfast items were just room temperature, not HOT. The person overseeing the breakfast area heated my oatmeal in the kitchen, but this should not have been necessary. The temperature controls should be set for HOT, not room temperature.

Wonderful Location For A Wonderful Week We stayed at this location to be closer to family between Xmas and New Year's. The staff was wonderful. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great. The even-numbered rooms overlooked the backyard and was nice. Liked the indoor pool and we will remember our suits for the next time. We will return in the new year!

Bereavement Stay I flew to San Antonio for my Mother's funeral and was stressed with the circumstances of having lost a loved one, a long day with flights and a bad rental car experience. I entered the hotel after fighting rush hour traffic and commented that I hoped I was in the right place. Two persons were at the counter and both greeted me with a smile and checked for my reservation. I believe one may have been a Manager/Owner. I went to my room and was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the room and crispness of the bedding. The location is ideal for any type of cuisine a person may want, but a few feet away is a steakhouse. After the check-in at the hotel and a great meal I felt the tension slip away and felt like myself again. Kudos to the entire staff for making me feel so much better under trying circumstances and a big kudos to the housekeeping staff for taking pride in providing an exceptionally clean room.

Missing the mark First there is another Holiday Inn closer to Sea World on 151....the area this one is in is a bit shady. The ice maker on third floor is still not fixed. Worst is the lack of coffee maker! cmon a single use maker is safer than going downstairs! other than that it was clean and comfortable.
