Overpriced for quality and service You are paying for the location. We didn't really get to enjoy that so we wouldn't book here again. It was a challenge figuring out where the entrance was so we could pull our car in. Valet parking is expensive. Our room was spacious, but felt old. The hallways are warm, but the ac in our room was adequate, albeit noisy. Customer service was poor. I called in advance with some questions, and the woman cut me off with an unrelated issue before I could ask my questions. If you use the Hilton app, it's useless here.

Great Stay! Stayed four nights at the Homewood Suites - Riverwalk. Nicely located on the Riverwalk & an easy walk to restaurants and other attractions. Nice spacious clean rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was very good (try to avoid the really busy times on the weekend). Will stay again!

Convenient to the Riverwalk; room issues We rented a two bedroom-two bathroom suite overlooking the river to accommodate 4 gals. The concierge was very helpful. The bedrooms worked well. The living room/kitchen suite area was dark though and not that comfortable. There is an upstairs outside area with the pool and sitting to overlook the city. We did wake up in the morning to a LARGE puddle leak coming from the AC vent...super wet socks...which we told the receptionist upon check out. No apologies given. It is a convenient area to the Riverwalk with complimentary breakfasts.

Destiny at the front desk - wonderful! This review is about the front desk! Destiny saved us! We arrived exhausted after 13 hours of delayed travel and found out Expedia messed up our booking! Destiny went above and beyond and made our experience great! We will be back and recommend others to come here also! Thank you Destiny for choosing to “make it right” and our stay was excellent!

Good for location but you'd never know it and large rooms Location of this hotel is excellent to access the River Walk but there is no outside space to enjoy the location and views. You can see the River Walk from the breakfast area windows on the 2nd floor only. We are frequent Hilton guests and had checked in, chosen our room (with a view), and requested a digital key prior to arriving at the hotel. The digital key wasn't available, we had to go to the front desk to check-in, and we were moved to a room with no view at all. The rooms themselves are very large. I was just traveling with my husband but we commented that we would have had plenty of room even if we'd had our 2 adult children with us. Breakfast is good, we found it typical of other Hilton properties. Parking is outrageous, though that seems to be the norm for all hotels on the River Walk. We found a public, secure deck on Navarro St and paid $50 for 3 days vs $50/day at the hotel and it was a 4 min walk. The hotel was fine but we wouldn't stay here again unless they add some outdoor space to enjoy the River Walk (which they seem to have but haven't taken advantage of). I would also call ahead to confirm if you have checked-in prior to arrival as they don't honor your online check-in.
