Filthy We reserved Rm 9 on Priceline. The room was disgusting. Bad smells. There were miscellaneous spatters on the bathroom wall and shower curtain. Eek! Be prepared to bring your own shower shoes, linens and towels... ideally a disinfectant. Definitely more disgusting than a hostel. Or consider a campground. Just miserable.

Business This is less than basic. I paid a lot of money to stay in what was a very poor quality place I'm sorry to say. Dark, dingy, TV intermittent, poor wifi, No tea or coffee facilities, no shampoo. Looks like something from 1970. Just don't do it is all I can say. If it were a bargain price $50 per night, I'd say suffer it for this reason. Any higher pass it by. Completely ripped me off. Places like this should have a price limit to what they charge online....

was quieter than I thought it would be, I actually slept well. I was trying out Peninsula lodging when I came across this older West Side concern. I like the location and proximity to Laurel ave. I found the owner/manager couple to be caring and on top of all the potential issues usually found in a place like this. I agree that San Carlos is a better location than Redwood City for lodging.

AWFUL!!!!!! Nasty, filthy and disgusting. Don't forget smelly because that is the first thing you notice. Barely any lighting in the main room. Like being in a cave. Please do yourself a favor and don't go here. They make you pay in advance which once you see the room you know why.

Best location near Redwood City We had to stay near Redwood City on the weekend. Unfortunately, all the hotels there are overpriced and in shady areas. We found a cute lively area in San Carlos. This hotel is walking distance to shopping, restaurants and bars. It also has a pool. The owner was friendly, but the breakfast is marginal.
