Large room, shame about the building work Nice hotel with good facilities. Rooms larger than average with a lovely sunken bath. One of our rooms had a blocked toilet; breakfast is ‘grab and go’ style with limited options but was fine. We didn’t visit the pool but it looked nice. Building work opposite disrupted any ‘view’ and the workers started early which made for a rude awakening.

Theft from hotel room My iPad, passport, and several other personal belongings were stolen from my hotel room while I was attending the ASH2023 conference. The incident was handled poorly by the hotel staff, and none of the stolen items were reimbursed. Furthermore, the hotel did not cooperate with the police investigation. Although the staff had access to door code data that could identify who had entered my room, they refused to release this information to me or the authorities.

Cool location, decent room, rude staff When checking in, I mentioned that I had a high-clearance vehicle. I was told I could park on the top level of the parking garage if I could make it up there. As I was pulling in it became clear I could not so I went to remove the surfboards from the top when an employee walked in and told me I could just park next to the door, before the clearance became an issue. Fast forward 30 minutes and I get an exceedingly rude call from the front desk telling me I needed to move. I explained I was told I could park there and got a snippy reply of "no, you talked to me, that's not what I said." I tried to explain another employee told me to park there, but that I would gladly move the vehicle. I immediately went downstairs to move my truck and got the angry eye from the front desk employee who was hovering around my truck. I tried to explain that someone had told me to park there but he just huffed and went back inside. I truly would not have parked there if someone hadn't told me to do so. It was not an issue to pull off my boards and park in the garage.

Great hotel in a great location I have to admit at being slightly worried about this hotel due to recent reviews regarding the nearby construction, however I needn’t have worried as all was fine with our room. Upon arrival we were checked in by Ava, I asked if there were any available rooms to upgrade to, she checked and gave us a bayside view at no extra cost! We were thrilled and it really made our stay there even more wonderful, thanks Ava, it really was much appreciated x The hotel is in a good location, just on the edge of Little Italy, 5-10 minutes walk to the harbour front, 15 mins to the Gaslamp Quarter and a little further to the delightful Seaport area. The room was lovely, very comfy, had everything we needed. Car parking is available, a little tight but that was more due to our hire car being enormous! A great hotel, lovely staff, fab location, would definitely recommend

Relaible downtown hotel - good location I stayed two nights (Saturday and Sunday) at this hotel and paid £375. I think that is expensive but finding anything cheaper in such a good location seemed impossible. The hotel is a few blocks away from the waterfront. The Maritime Museum and USS Midway aircraft carrier are about 10-15 minutes’ walk away. Little Italy with its numerous restaurants is 5 minutes away. I didn't have a car but noted that there was a hotel car park (chargeable). I used UBER taxis to get around and found them easy to get and inexpensive. Across from the hotel was a Starbucks and close by plenty of places to get breakfast and an evening meal. The hotel had a 'grab and go' breakfast that I thought looked poor and unappetising. In fact, the reception desk staff were not very welcoming or helpful. Not rude in any way, but I felt 'processed' rather than welcomed and they were not forthcoming about offering advice or directions. Could do better! My room was large, quiet and well appointed. It had a good desk for working a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. There was an iron and ironing board. Good free internet. The double bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had a bath and shower. I looked out onto a car park - not a great view but it was at least quiet. The room was serviced too. So, all in all a good, reliable and well-located place to stay.
