Don't get high on the job, there's enough of that already inside of the building The hotel is nice and quiet, but the female desk attendant is very rude , she was outside smoking a vape and telling people to close the door behind them after they closed it already....maybe that vape had THC in it ....I think there's enough of that already around..this place is too decent for that

Great value within walking distance to everything downtown This place is really a nice value. Everything was super clean, and the room is very functional with easy to control TV with Tom Segura on the first channel I checked, good Wi-Fi, plenty of electrical outlets, a little desk, plenty of towels, adequate shampoo and soap. Everything very functional and surprisingly well kept. Note to management.. the toilet runs in room 305, which didn't affect me at all, but may be costly for you. If you stay here, ideally have a White Noise app on your phone, because it's near the street level, and yes, it's in an urban area. The air conditioner wasn't needed, since I'm here in january, but the fan from it worked well.

How little is your life worth? There is one and only one reason you want to stay at the Harborview Inn when you could be staying elsewhere in San Diego - the price. Yes, the location is pretty awesome, but there HAS to be some other place that's not significantly more inconvenient to get around to places from. We stayed there for NYE 2023, and it was fun, yes, to walk a block away to Little Italy's fine establishments, but the nails in the walls, the patches of spackled surfaces, the broken refrigerator, and the mysterious scratches on the bedside table that looked like someone dragged a cat out of there against its will as it hung on to the table's base for dear life, all made us feel like we were returning to a horror movie set each night. The elevator takes forever, the card keys sometimes stop working, the lobby smells like coffee has seeped into every fibre of fabric in it, and you HAVE to take the super slow elevator each time to go two floors because all the stairs are only meant for emergencies and threaten to sound an alarm if you access the stairwell. Oh, but they have parking and yeah, they are the cheapest deal in the neighborhood.

Short and Nice staty. Great location with an affordable price. Everything was within walking distance: Amtrak station, restaurants, and bars. I would recommend my friends and family to stay at this hotel. We have enjoyed the farmer's market and little Italy.

I wouldn’t stay there again and truly hope to get my security deposit back! Wish I’d read the reviews before I booked..BUT, like others just needed a place to sleep after arriving at airport at 10pm ...Woman at desk was very nice and said she was only going to charge me a $50.00 security deposit instead of the usual $200.. ??? Well ,I left early on the 3rd and it hasn’t been credited to my account as yet ....Tried calling but the tel # is no longer in service.....positives: the bed was comfortable and linens clean but no warm blankets available , luckily it didn’t get too cold..shower was fine but hair dryer didn’t work..room was definitely musty upon entering. Luckily I was very tired from my trip so I was able to sleep... surprised that I didn’t hear any noise from the outside as it’s on a busy corner and the window of my room was close to sidewalk and street.
