Amazing! Definitely coming back Awesome place, awesome vibe! Staff was extremely kind and helpful. Very clean and beautiful hotel. Absolutely love the text feature to stay in contact even before check-in at the hotel. In my case our flight got cancelled the night we were supposed to arrive and staff told us not to worry and adjusted everything for us! At a time of extreme stress and disappointment for me towards the airline, Hardrock hotel gave me comfort and actually made me feel better! Thank you!!

Overpriced for an outdated and SUPER loud hotel Honestly we had so many issues while staying at this hotel: We were lied to upon check-in multiple times. We were put in a room overlooking the docks which we knew would be noisy, and when asked to move we were told the docks/street would be closed all week so there wouldn't be any noise... instead we were woken every morning at 5 AM by loud trucks! The front desk tried to trick us about the resort fee, about the security deposit, etc. The room was tiny and outdated. The sink in the bathroom leaked and only gave boiling hot or freezing cold water, no inbetween. Housekeeping refused to pick up trash left outside the door overnight. Elevators were frequently shut down for VIPs, forcing our disabled roommates to walk across the entire hotel to get to the backup elevators. I could go on and on.

Stop Charging your customers $38 per day for things that should be included in the original fees. I booked with Agoda ... and here is a cut and paste of what they had on their website "The Hard Rock Hotel San Diego daily service charge includes free WiFi." Yet when I arrive, I was charged a $38 (per day) service fee for the internet, gym, pool, etc. All the things that should be included in the $400 (per day) I spent to stay in the room. I am only finding out about it when I arrive at the front desk. By that time, it is too late to go cancel and look for another room.

King bed not available without charged upgrade King bed selected was not available without charged upgrade to suite. Work stations in room and business area are not comfortable. Besides that, nice hotel right next to convention center and Petco stadium.

Rockin' Good Time. I really enjoyed my stay at this great hotel. In addition to the fun rock memorabilia scattered throughout the hotel, the furnishings were first-rate and the food and service at their in-house bar/cafe and coffee shop was too. A special shout out to Michael their parking attendant, who was extremely cheerful and helpful in helping me load up my car.
