Gross - Avoid at all costs I travel frequently and was able to use Hilton Honors points for part of my stay. This hotel has made me question being a Hilton Honors member at all. Although the app allows you to select a room, that room was not ready at 4PM check-in so we were assigned a different room, which was filthy. There was a wadded-up dirty Kleenex on the floor, hair and brown marks on the sheets and hair all over the bathroom. I washed my hands and the sink would not drain. It was a shabby, beat-up room and they should be embarrassed to charge $300. We spoke to the front desk and were given a different room on a higher floor. That room had clean sheets, only one working outlet and an updated bathroom which was also full of hair. I saw housekeeping several times during our stay and never once heard or saw a vacuum cleaner. The location is not great. The bed and pillows were ok and I was not disturbed by noise. However, I would not recommend this motel to anyone and suggest that Hilton reconsider allowing their name on this dive.

Filthy experience Upon check-in I was surprised how far the entrance was from handicap parking. After getting to my room I found condoms and dirty clothing in the dresser. The mirrors were dirty and there was hair etc in the bed. The room appeared as though there was a party and housekeeping simply made the bed after. After notifying the front desk housekeeping came and inspected the room then approximately 30 min later gave me another room. Although the new room appeared clean, the couch had a large wet spot rendering it unusable. The hallways were quite dirty and outside the elevator was a bench which was filthy to inclued spilled food which remained uncleaned for two days. For breakfast I ordered biscuits and gravy whereas the gravy contained corn, carrots, parsley etc which seemed more like corn chowder than gravy and very thin. My waiter advised me that numerous people complained about it but the sous chef insisted this is how country gravy is made. I don't recommend staying or eating here it is very filthy and staff obviously don't care.

Did Not Meet My Expectations Unfortunately, this hotel did not meet my Hilton expectations. The location was great. However, I had a problem getting the room, as described on the website I used. I was told this is because I used an outside booking company. Once the manager stepped in and we came up with a compromise, we found the room to be small and it had a loud banging noise inside the wall. Thankfully that noise eventually stopped, but we were awoken at 3:00am by the fire alarm chirping randomly. I called to the office so they could come change the battery. Some one came around 20 minutes later to reset it. By this time we were all awake and hard a difficult time falling back to sleep. Around 7:00am we were awoken again, as our room was across from the door in which the staff comes in and out. Needless to say, this was not a wonderful stay.

Overpriced For the amount paid, parking and continental breakfast should be included. Free parking is limited in a small parking lot. I had to request extra towels twice because the first request was ignored. The restaurant is overpriced, so using UberEats for food is better. There are plenty of dining options if you want to venture out and stores nearby in case you forget any items. The surrounding area is not the nicest and there are no views for the upper level rooms.

Nice hotel to stay that isn't right in the middle of things. Hotel is within driving distance of the popular san diego tourist areas. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. The pool area was nice as the hotel bordered and large hill covered in trees. The breakfast options were great, and Diamond Members received a credit toward breakfast. I would recommend, however, the parking cost seemed high for the area.
