Vacation We had a great experience staying at the Howard Johnson’s. The area is very convenient to restaurants, shops and Sea world. The location is also convenient/ close to Old Town San Diego.

Do not stay here The property is run down. Our room was very dirty, smelled horrible. No lamp shades, and had cockroaches! DO NOT STAY HERE!

Stay and play in San Diego When touching down in San Diego look no further than Howard Johnsons By Wyndham. This property is centrally located in the midway District of San Diego. Close to public transportation and the scenic old town, this property will give you a restful night stay so that you can maximize your playtime throughout San Diego. From the moment I checked in the staff seamlessly got me a room and on my way, the general manager named Mirielle was extremely accommodating throughout my stay. The room appointments had everything necessary and included, a microwave, refrigerator, big screen TV, hairdryer, safe, iron and ironing board. The room came air-conditioned, and the bed was very comfortable with four pillows. The property, has an ice machine, laundry facility pool free Internet, and plenty of free off street parking. Restaurants, shopping, And activities are all within walking distance of the property, not to mention it is very close to Seaworld and the airport and downtown. So if you’re looking for a property that is reasonably priced and offers all of this look no further than Howard Johnson, by Wyndham. You will not be disappointed!

Perfect for an impromptu road trip! We were looking for a budget friendly motel for an impromptu road trip. We were towing a motorcycle trailer and needed parking which would accommodate the trailer as well as a great location close to old town San Diego. We were able to walk to old town and Historic Decatur Road for restaurants and shopping. We had our bicycles and took the bike trail to ocean beach and mission bay. The room was clean. The air conditioning was perfect. The beds were comfortable with a large TV. The staff were really nice. The other lodgers were mostly families. The pool is small but well kept and tables umbrellas and chairs.

A restful night stay! If you’re looking for a nice quality place to stay, look no further than Howard Johnson’s by Wyndham. Centrally located in the heart of San Diego, this property is close to all. Upon checking in the front desk, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Getting to my room I found it well appointed with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. A large screen TV, iron and ironing board, microwave, mini fridge, hairdryer, toiletries, lounge, chair, and table or just a few of the appointments in the room. The room had a comfortable bed and came air-conditioned. The property has a pool, plenty of on-site, parking, an ice machine, and laundry facilities. Just 15 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes to old town, trolley and public transportation, close to shops and restaurants within walking distance. It is close to the beach and Seaworld. So if you’re looking for a property that won’t break the bank, has a continental breakfast to get you started on your day, and wonderful property staff, don’t look any further than Howard Johnson’s Wyndham.
