Good location for family vacation at sea world Hyatt mission bay is a ideal location if you want to visit the sea world. The hotel is well maintained and staff are friendly and professional. We booked two rooms for two nights. We also tried the red marlin restaurant for breakfast. Food is good but a bit expensive as expected. I hope hyatt can use a better mattress for the sofa bed. The current mattress is very thin and uncomfortable. The regular bed is awesome though!

Great Experience and Honest Staff This is a great family hotel with waterslides and pools and its location is perfect for activities outside the hotel. We left a valuable item in the room safe and housekeeping found it and worked with management to have it shipped to us in 2 days. What an honest staff!

Overpriced Hotel Pros Staff is very friendly. Front desk folks are marvelous. Housekeeping folks also. Rooms were comfortable. Clean. Pool was fun for children. The water slides were very popular. Public restrooms were clean. Free wifi. Cons The on premise restaurants just charged too much for the quality of food served. Everything from drinks to dinner was overpriced. Service at the Pellicans was dismal, at best. Food was average - when it came - more than once not hot. Wait staff was kind but wildly overworked. The bar tender wasn't very friendly - I assume because of being overworked as well. The amount of space/people to be served would be daunting. Never once did anyone ask if my food, drink or service met my expectations. It was convenient, even if overpriced and undervalued. We at the Red Martin on premise. I thought the food and service was good. The prices, as noted above, were unnecessarily high. There was no cold water out of the tap in our room. Never have seen that before. We had a room on a top floor near the elevator. That ensured we were woken up multiple times each night. Overall, I've seen better and worst. I wouldn't stay here again unless I couldn't find anything better. My rating of 4 stars is generous.

Not worth the money Not worth the money, other hotels in the area provide a better experience for the cost, very disappointed with the experience.

Only Stay If You Have Children I would not recommend staying here unless you have children, the pools are crowded and chaotic, often to packed to find an open lounge chair. It is a good environment for families but is not well suited for couples or those who are on a child free vacation. The spa was amazing and the room was nice with a comfortable bed but the lack of amenities catering to adults as an adult was a downfall.
