Horrible experience! They cancelled my reservation one day before my arrival. Horrible experience. They just cancelled my reservation, that I did months in advance ,one day before my arrival. They said ooops we’re overbooked and left me to solve the issue without even an apology. Not to be trusted even if you reserve months in advance.

Great location and friendly staff Easy to get around town from here. Staff was helpful and the rooms were clean and the basic cooking items helped with food during our stay.

Hard sell Time Share The room and staff were very nice BUT on check in we were convinced to go to a Wyndham time share presentation by the friendly concierge. He said “just go and get free breakfast, trolley tickets and discount voucher” .. so we went and it was a horrible experience. When we explained we were not interested the attitude from Holder the closing star salesman was nothing short of rude, inappropriate, aggressive and patronising. “Why did you come then?” “ after we said it was not right for us . My advice side step the goodies promise for suffering through a predictable hard sell presentation. We did not get all of our goodies either. Because we were not US nationals it was decided we missed out on a future accomodation voucher. The sales staff were ignorant and poorly travelled. They could not grasp the fact that Australian $ were worth almost half of an American $ making the offer very poor value. Just horrible.

Elegant Hotel stay. Nice getaway. Fun city. Nice beach close by. Fernando was informative and efficient on check-in. Room was elegant and clean. Bed was so comfortable and pillows were perfect. Pool was very warm and clean. Restaurants in area and Huntington Beach close. Baskin and Robins nearby and has delicious ice cream.

Great accommodations for a big family We visited San Diego with our family of 7, and outside of a short term vacation rental, there weren’t a lot of options other than multiple rooms. Thankfully we found the Inn at the Park! We stayed in a 2 bedroom deluxe suite and it was wonderful. It’s an old building but very well kept and updated, yet still keeping its art deco/Great Gatsby vibe. The rooms were huge, the beds were comfortable , and the full kitchen was well stocked with all of the utensils and appliances you would need. The rooftop was cool with good views, but we only stopped up quickly. As stated by others, the hotel is part of a timeshare vacation club, and the staff will offer information sessions but were not pushy and took no for an answer. And even after we declined the info session, they were still incredibly helpful. I especially appreciated Diego taking time on the first night to give recommendations and discount offers to local restaurants, he was awesome. Location was great for the zoo (but not walkable) and to get downtown easily. All in all, I’d stay here again with family in a heartbeat!
