Dont do it! This was an absolute rip off. Dont stay here. The room has one lamp and is very dark. The TV stopped working at 10PM and couldn't watch after that. There is nobody onsite to handle any issues after 9pm. Stay somewhere else. The environment is not family friendly. Alot of street people and doesn't feel very safe. I used to live near PB but it is not the same as it was. This is probably ok for guys that want to party but not suitable for families.

Small beach hotel, great location Our trip was a combo of college move out and beach/surf time. Despite some mixed reviews, a friend had had a good experience at Pacific View Inn in the fall which was reassuring. Sure enough, it turned out to be a great choice-great location walking distance to dining, shopping, grocery, public transportation and more and right on the gorgeous beach! (No car this trip, so parking not an issue like for some people.) The room and bathroom were updated and looked like hotel photos. Beach towels were available. The staff was very kind and helpful- held onto luggage at check out, helped with keys, etc. Firepit at night was so nice. But...this is a smaller, more basic hotel so some amenities of larger hotels like gym, pool, etc are missing. I think front desk hours are also more limited, not around the clock. Had a great stay.

Literally on the Boardwalk. Restaurants and bars are literally a block away. Parking is ample if lucky. Staff at hotel was very kind and professional. Rooms are small but clean. Had 2 double beds on platforms. Scraped a leg, be careful on the corner of bed frames. Great and would stay again.

Best hotel on the beach! Fabulous hotel. Staff was very friendly. Boogie boards, towels and beach chairs are available for guest use. Rooms were updated, very clean and include a safe and mini fridge. Location is perfect for dining and shopping options. Bike rentals near by. Will absolutely stay here again.

Atrocious I'm not one to leave bad reviews but I highly suggest you don't stay here. I didn't find the need to complain to the front desk staff because clearly they don't get paid enough to care much for my opinion. It started out exciting actually, and took a turn pretty quickly. I was on a work trip from LA and on my way over I noticed via text I was "Guest of the Day". I've never gotten any sort of special treatment at hotel stays so I was feeling pretty special. I had left a memo via booking that if it were possible to check in early that would be great. I received an additional email saying that I had good news and that I could check in a bit early. So I call on my way in, express my excitement and ask how early I can check in..the sales associate went back and forth with confusion and said 2pm but that I would have to pay a $15 dollar fee. I brushed it off and was like it's fine, i'm the "guest of the day" i'm sure theres some sort of sweet accommodation waiting for me. I arrive and to my dismay there is no parking-- I ask the front desk if my room is ready and the sales associate said it wasn't ready and that it will now be ready around 2:30pm -- alright no rush, no problem. I asked what the perks of being "Guest of Day" entailed and she said "we put snacks in your room". Cool, I love snacks. Since it's now at 2:30, do I still have to pay? No she said. Dope-- parking? You have to find street parking. You also have to reserve ahead of time for parking (I found out later they only have 4 spots total). I was trying to understand why things were the way they were and one of the girls kind of snapped at me and said theres 26 rooms and limited staff to clean. Dope lady, I wasn't trying to complain...which I said. Look, I totally get it-- I've been in the customer service industry, I still am...you don't get paid enough to care and you're probably treated pretty poorly over things you can't control...but have some empathy for people who are kind to you. I did not snap or complain or fuss-- It was all just a bit comical. What is this spirit airlines? I have to pay for everything extra? Also, what do I get for being guest of the day? A bag of lays chips and an aquafina water bottle. Do better..there couldv'e been free parking or a coffee on us, or an early check in...THAT makes sense. I get to my room and it is DOWSED in lysol - the smell was so bad I was just inhaling fumes the whole stay. Now I felt like I couldn't say anything because what would they do anyway? It really sucked. They close at 10pm and there is no security whatsoever. There was a creepy guy lingering IN FRONT OF MY DOOR for 2 hours yelling into his cell phone in a different language and it freaked me the hell out. At LEAST, they should have some sort of security. It was all just very terrible and it wasn't enjoyable whatsoever. I'm really looking forward to the "Thank you for your feedback." response I'll get to this post. Again-- this is in no way shape or form targetting the staff -- but the owner should know and if he/she cares enough would make some changes to better their business. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.
