Very Clean Room Stayed in one of the renovated rooms. The room was extremely clean and I liked the layout. The booth in the room made it easy to have a space to work and enjoy a meal. Beware of the expensive self parking. I liked the store within the resort, again expensive. However, it would’ve been nice to have all of the amenities explained to me when I checked in. I had chicken tacos at the restaurant that were ok but when I ordered the salmon meal, it smelled funny and tasted disgusting. I only had a few bites before I decided it was in my best interest not to eat any more, once again pricey for a meal I couldn’t eat. The service at the hotel overall could use some work. Besides not receiving a briefing of the resort, I ended up stuck in the parking lot while trying to get to the airport to make my flight and continued to get texts about checkout after I had already checked out. Would recommend grabbing food to bring back while you’re out and about and doing the research of things to visit close to the hotel on your own. My room did face the parking lot but I didn’t mind, as I was there for work. Couldn’t get my balcony door open for fresh air. Would also recommend getting a room on the 3rd floor or higher. Beware, you can hear all of the noise from the hallway.

Wonderful Birthday Weekend We’re semi-local, came down for a little get away weekend for my birthday and had an absolutely amazing time. It started off great with the lovely front staff being super accommodating and helpful (shout out Hansel)! We were upgraded to the pacific suite and I would 100% book this room again. It was the perfect space for my boyfriend and I. The resort had lots of fun activities including a yoga class on the lawn, s'more's, and paddle boarding. They have a few pool options with the main one being heated and the poolside restaurant/bar had a great pins colada. We also were able to book a package that came with zoo tickets and the staff was so great at helping facilitate our weekend. Definitely looking forward to going back!

Great view of Harbor! The rooms were comfy, the staff was friendly and the views are breathtaking! There are two hotel buildings; one was newer and had more amenities, but you can take advantage of both no matter which one you were staying because they are only a five minute walk along the harbor apart from each other.

Not too shabby Overall a great hotel and stay. Conference rooms were awesome. Food was good. Loved the amenities. Rooms were okay, TVs weren’t working at first, no microwave in the room and the fridge was too small to fit anything. The keurig barely worked most of the time. I wish they had bathtubs but it was a nice room.

Busy, Convention hotel with some disappointing food This hotel was busy with a convention the weekend my husband and I stayed there. A relative who lives in San Diego joined us for dinner, and we were very disappointed with the food in the bar restaurant across from Rumorosa. The funny thing is the food looked good, but didn't taste good. The breakfast buffet, however, was very good both days we had it. We self parked ($50) and had to walk quite a distance dragging out luggage. The view from the tower room on the 12th floor was very nice and the room was spacious. There were a couple of fire pits, but people weren't too eager to share. We learned this hotel is too big and too crowded for us and the food is unpredictable.
