Super friendly and accommodating staff I booked this hotel for 2 nights as my home was being fumigated. My grandmother and my cat (they allow pets) came with me. I had originally booked an ADA room as my grandmother has a walker but that room was not available come the day of my stay. I expressed my concern to Skip at the front desk, as well as early check-in availability and he was super accommodating. He still wasn't able to get me the ADA room but he did get me in early. He made sure we were comfortable and settled. On the day we left, it took me some time to find my cat, who is skittish. I finally realized she was under the bathroom sink (enclosed in cabinetry, as only a cat can accomplish) and needed help retrieving her as she was hiding behind pipes. Danny, the maintenance guy, was super cheerful and helpful. He helped take apart the cabinets (fortunately, it had a false wall behind it) and I was able to get my cat. I have to admit, I was really stressed but both Skip and Danny were so friendly and accommodating it eased my stress levels. I got my grandmother and cat out in good condition! They are still renovating (which is why the ADA rooms were not available) so my only real criticism is that the reservation line (I don't think it was the hotel directly) should have had that information and not booked me for a room that wasn't available. Oh, and the breakfast buffet doesn't serve bacon. They really need to add bacon to their breakfast buffet!

Nice Find This was a good find. The property is under renovation so the rooms are brand new and very well appointed. The breakfast was adequate to get you going for the day. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We will be staying here again.

Worst hotel ever Worst hotel I have ever stayed in, was doing renovations on the hotel during my stay. One of my friends room was right next to the renovations and had blood on his door and stains all over his couch, another one of my friends had a worker just walk into his room without knocking. My room’s door did not close without a force being applied to it, the blinds had visible dirt on them, and my door did not lock either. My room also had a stench to it that smelled like something had died in the vents. I also don’t know where these photos were taken since most of don’t look remotely close to the rooms I saw. Would not recommend this hotel for anyone to stay in.

Not a pleasant stay The hotel is doing major renovations and was not in good shape. “Reception and breakfast were served out of the same poorly renovated guest room, that was not adequate to serve either. The breakfast was “okay” at best, with no place to eat besides your room. The suite we stayed in had a nice layout, but was not properly cleaned upon checkin. The bathroom floor especially did not appear to be clean and there were red streaks (blood?) on the shower wall by the shower head. Furniture in the room was very dusty. The one operating elevator was never clean. There were several trash bags left in the hallways throughout our stay. And to top it all off, charge a $10 parking fee per night. We will not be returning.

Best Customer Service! The room was very nice, comfortable and had everything we needed for a “working” vacation. The standout were the people who worked there, Mark, Noemi, Skip, Liz, Andrea and Hazel. They all went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. Excellent customer service! If called to San Diego again we will definitely stay here. .
